Hi, thanks for message. You can sign your comments automatically using four tildes ~~~~. User pages are for you to write about your activities on Wikipedia, and are not for promotion. I deleted your article because

  • it did not provide independent verifiable sources to enable us to verify the facts and show that it meets the notability guidelines. It is now Wikipedia policy that biographical articles about living people must have independent verifiable references, as defined in the link, or they will be deleted. Sources that are not acceptable include those linked to the subject or their organisation or company, press releases, YouTube, IMDB, social media and other sites that can be self-edited, blogs, websites of unknown or non-reliable provenance, and refrencessites that are just reporting what she claims or interviewing her. Note that references should be in-line so we can tell what fact each is supporting, and should not be bare urls. You had only one in-line reference, the rest was entirely unsourced. You had a list headed "References" at the bottom, but of course they were not in line, so no idea what they were supposed to be supporting, and in any case none actually linked to web pages due to lack of formatting.
  • Your "External links" aren't links
  • Even if everything you wrote had independent third-party sources, it's not clear how she meets the notability criteria I've linked above, the supposed awards aren't referenced, and there is nothing, such as a wikilink to an existing article, to suggest that any of them are notable; the rest is just family gossip
  • it was written in a promotional tone. Articles must be neutral and encyclopaedic. Examples of unsourced or self-sourced claims presented as fact include: each of them showing exactly how passionate she is about keeping her culture alive, and giving back to communities... used her line to show support and resistance of the judgement and shame inflicted on people who are already underrepresented... it has become very important to their people, as White states... As a talented artist, Delina White has acquired many awards, fellowships, and grants but none verified with references. You also quote her talking about herself and her work, we don't want to know what she says about herself, we need proper facts with real WP:RS rferences
  • there shouldn't be any url links in the article, only in the "References" or "External links" sections. That's particularly the case when they are spamlinks to affiliated sites.
  • the article was created in a single edit without wikilinks or references, and looks as if was copied from an unknown and possibly copyrighted source. Copyrighted text is not allowed in Wikipedia, as outlined in this policy. That applies even to pages created by you or your organisation, unless they state clearly and explicitly that the text is public domain. We require that text posted here can be used, modified and distributed for any purpose, including commercial and text is considered to be copyright unless explicitly stated otherwise. There are ways to donate copyrighted text to Wikipedia, as described here; please note that simply asserting on the talk page that you are the owner of the copyright, or you have permission to use the text, isn't sufficient. But in any case the copyrighted text is far too promotional to be useful for Wikipedia's purposes, so there would not be any point in your jumping through all the hoops that are required.
  • I notice that you give many unsourced family details and sometimes refer to her as just "Delina". If you have a conflict of interest when editing this article, you must declare it. If, after reading the information about notability linked above, you still believe that she is notable enough for a Wikipedia article (and that there is significant coverage in reliable, independent secondary sources), you could, if you wish, post a request at Wikipedia:Requested articles for the article to be created. See also guidance for editors with conflicts of interest and writing about yourself. Note that editing with a COI is discouraged, but permitted as long as it is declared. Please do not edit further until you respond to this message.
  • You don't seem to have looked at any other Wikipedia pages or read any of our editing guidance, with no references or wikilinks and do-it yourself formatting. If this is a project, you appear to have been given zero guidance.

Before attempting to write an article again, please make sure that the topic meets the notability criteria linked above, and check that you can find independent third party sources. Also read Your first article. You must also reply to the COI request above

I suggest that you look at biographies such as Pamela C. Rasmussen to get an idea of layout and referencing. You don't have to use the fancy reference templates, just <ref>[url description]</ref> for web refs or <ref>[publication details]</ref> for books etc will do.

Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). Hi! I see that this is at the Articles for Creation process. As such, I can't move this live myself. This also does still have some issues:

  • This needs editing for neutrality. It's too casual in places and also uses some wording that can be seen as promotional and even subjective. For example, calling someone talented can be seen as us promoting them to the reader, as it's common to see marketing people call someone talented in order to "sell" them to the reader. It could also be seen as an opinion, which brings up concerns of subjectivity, but the main concern with this would be neutrality. You also can't use wording like fortunately and so on, as this outright states a judgement on the situation on our part, which runs afoul of neutrality. These are all things that would be commonplace off of Wikipedia, but on Wikipedia it's something we have to be careful about.
  • This needs sourcing that is independent of White and in places Wikipedia would see as reliable. For example, if her work is held in the permanent collections of a major institution - or she has been part of a notable exhibition there - then that could be used to back up claims of notability. However a link to something created by White or by her friends, family, or by someone she has hired would be a primary source that can't establish notability.
  • Be extremely, EXTREMELY careful about making major claims around things like two-spirited. We can say that White states something about it, but when it comes to general claims we need to be careful with how things are phrased and what is claimed. For example, the term two-spirit is a new term that was coined in 1990. Also, there is evidence that not all tribes embraced or accepted other genders. The concern that this evidence was influenced by colonialism and if so to what extent is a very real and legitimate concern, however the fact that this evidence exists means that we should avoid making blanket statements that two-spirits people were fully accepted and honored. There's also the issue of how this applies to different tribes and cultures, as one Indigenous journalist (Mary Annette Pember) has criticized that this term gets very broadly applied to Native Americans.
As such, my recommendation here would be that since we already have an article on two-spirits, that the section on I Am Anishaabe be more specifically about the collection (ie, when it launched, what is in it, etc) and that any big statements about two-spirits be limited to those made by White. I did pull a definition sentence from the main article to use in the section.
The concern with this is that the material can be seen as inaccurate, especially as there is some discussion and outright criticism over the term and gender fluidity in Native American history in general. It's honestly something that we could probably spend hours discussing, as this is an area where colonialism - as well as influence from later, non-Indigenous historians have absolutely had an impact on how this history has been recorded in the public sphere (when it was recorded at all). That's not even including how outright attempts to destroy Indigenous culture and history have resulted in language, history, and culture not being passed down. (And even families officially recognizing that they had ancestors who were Indigenous!)
