Hello, here's how to add references from reliable sources for the content you add to Wikipedia. This helps maintain our policy of verifiability. Adding a well formatted references is very easy to do.
- While editing any article or a wikipage, on the top of the edit window you will see a toolbar which says "cite". Click on it
- Then click on "templates",
- Choose the most appropriate template and fill as many details as you can. This will add a well formatted reference that would be helpful in case the website link (web URL) becomes inactive (dead/link rot) after some time.
- Click on Preview.
- Then if the reference is how you want it, click on Insert.
- And then Preview the page and Save as usual.

File permission problem with File:Azomite mineral ore.jpg
[edit]Thanks for uploading File:Azomite mineral ore.jpg, which you've sourced to https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=504838392860915&set=a.133289596682465.22370.121643231180435&type=3&theater. I noticed that while you provided a valid copyright licensing tag, there is no proof that the creator of the file agreed to license it under the given license.
If you created this media entirely yourself but have previously published it elsewhere (especially online), please either
- make a note permitting reuse under the CC-BY-SA or another acceptable free license (see this list) at the site of the original publication; or
- Send an email from an address associated with the original publication to permissions-en@wikimedia.org, stating your ownership of the material and your intention to publish it under a free license. You can find a sample permission letter here. If you take this step, add {{OTRS pending}} to the file description page to prevent premature deletion.
If you did not create it entirely yourself, please ask the person who created the file to take one of the two steps listed above, or if the owner of the file has already given their permission to you via email, please forward that email to permissions-en@wikimedia.org.
If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Non-free content, use a tag such as {{non-free fair use in|article name}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:File copyright tags#Fair use, and add a rationale justifying the file's use on the article or articles where it is included. See Wikipedia:File copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.
If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have provided evidence that their copyright owners have agreed to license their works under the tags you supplied, too. You can find a list of files you have created in your upload log. Please do not add commentary, your own point of view, or your own personal analysis to Wikipedia articles, as you did to Ayurveda. Doing so violates Wikipedia's neutral point of view policy and breaches the formal tone expected in an encyclopedia. Thank you.

I actually spoke to some very even-tempered, non-judgemental admins in the KiwiIRC today that graciously — and with a normal, cordial conversational tone — pointed that out to me. I genuinely had no idea. I am traveling and there must have been a slow-connection error which created the action twice. So, my mistake. Although, my action of making a mistake doesn't make anyone else exempt from being respectful. Speaking of doing things in different ways, there were many other ways you could have expressed your concerns, other than as rudely as you have. I hope to never have an exchange with you again. - Question: Is it respectful to turn up and start hacking apart the work of your colleagues without consulting them first and then to do it again when they tidy up after you the first time? I really feel like some people turn up here and see themselves not as part of a group of editorial staff, but as a unilaterally acting member of a have-your-say style bulletin board.
