Tirupati/Tirumala

[edit]

Kalyan, I told you already that while categorizing it, the name reads Tirumala and not Tirupati as is popularly known to people around the world. So in order to get the name right when look in Hindu Temples, i had to change it, otherwise i would have added that as an alias in the beginning of the article. You've changed the articles name alright, but what's wrong with having Tirupati venkateshwara Temple as an alias at the beginning, pls reconsider it. When i first started looking at this article, it was too ambiguous when people enter Tirumala or Tirupati in search, it dint return the temple article at all. I fixed all the links and added the temple article to the disambiguation page. pls add alias atleast Tx Randhirreddy 05:34, 1 July 2008 (UTC)

There has been a issue in WT:CRIC that needs your vote. Thanks --ashwinikalantri talk 06:49, 1 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page. Incomplete DYK nomination

[edit]

Hello! Your submission of Template:Did you know nominations/List of cricketers by number of international five wicket hauls at the Did You Know nominations page is not complete; if you would like to continue, please link the nomination to the nominations page as described in step 3 of the nomination procedure. If you do not want to continue with the nomination, tag the nomination page with {{db-g7}}, or ask a DYK admin. Thank you. DYKHousekeepingBot (talk) 08:17, 23 August 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Vimalkalyan, this is your final call to complete the DYK nomination. I have to say that, since you are rarely on Wikipedia (that notice has been up for over eight years!), if any issues were to arise, the nomination would not be able to proceed because you wouldn't be around to fix them. Still, if you wish to pursue it, but aren't sure how, I'm happy to assist you; I notice that you had problems filling out the nomination template. Please let me know. Otherwise, I will have the nomination page deleted, probably after another seven days have passed. Best of luck! BlueMoonset (talk) 02:54, 12 November 2018 (UTC)[reply]
