No way, I will allow anyone to keep an outdated and wrong information about Coimbatore airport. I am a frequent flyer of Coimbatore. So you send a message to LeoFrank and Jetstream to be aware of the right information about Coimbatore airport before deleting anything. FYI, still the wiki page of Coimbatore airport is outdated one. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Mugun.cjb (talkcontribs) 07:59, 15 December 2020 (UTC)

@Mugun.cjb: Nobody cares who you are or what you do. Here in Wikipedia we have policies and one of the basic ones is WP:VERIFY. I strongly suggest you to read it thoroughly before making further changes.--Jetstreamer Talk 11:52, 15 December 2020 (UTC)

Missing short description tag

Is there a way to find all the articles which need a short description so that it can be added? Thanks! Vikram Vincent 19:44, 18 December 2020 (UTC)

I know practically nothing about Short_descriptions except that they can somehow be drawn from Wikidata or provided by the {{short description}} template. I suppose that one way might be to search for articles without {{short description}}: 3.4+ million hits

(talk page stalker) Vincentvikram: The most useful method is to install the "shortdescs-in-category" code described that is linked from here, then go to a category that interests you and use the "Show SDs" button to display local, Wikidata, and missing short descriptions. Make sure to read the rest of that page for guidance so that you add short descriptions that follow the normal practice here at the English Wikipedia. – Jonesey95 (talk) 22:04, 18 December 2020 (UTC)

Removing the speedy deletion tag

I have removed the speedy deletion tag from Vineeth (disambiguation). I am a person from Kerala and in my state there are atleast 4 celebrities who goes by the name Vineeth. Most of them are actors so it does make confusion. So instead of deletion, you could have opted out for redirect into a name list page. Thankyou Shahoodu (talk) 06:52, 23 December 2020 (UTC)

@Shahoodu: Do they have only Vineeth or do they have a last name? If they have different first/last names then disambiguation ain't necessary. Vikram Vincent 06:54, 23 December 2020 (UTC)

@Shahoodu: please replace the CSD g14 notice on the disambiguation page before I report your accoubt to the admins. Just because you delete content from your talk page does not mean no one can see the conversation. Vikram Vincent 07:42, 23 December 2020 (UTC)

Done as per your request Shahoodu (talk) 08:21, 23 December 2020 (UTC)

@Shahoodu: if you want to contest the notice then there is a contest deletion option. Please use that. Vikram Vincent 08:27, 23 December 2020 (UTC)

By the way I have changed the disambiguation into a name list. Hope that solves the problem. Shahoodu (talk) 08:29, 23 December 2020 (UTC)

Vikram Vincent, G14 is one of the WP:CSD criteria where creators are not barred from removing the deletion tag. Generally, if the tag doesn't have a big blue button saying "Contest this speedy deletion" then it means the creator can contest the deletion by simply removing the tag. In such a case, you should seek deletion using other processes, like WP:PROD or WP:AFD, instead of re-tagging again for the same speedy criterion. – Uanfala (talk) 11:43, 23 December 2020 (UTC)
@Uanfala: thanks for the info. I was the person who put it there and finally removed it since the condition had changed. Best! Vikram Vincent 11:57, 23 December 2020 (UTC)
