correct company description

[edit]

Dear Abecedare. Please explain how is you see as wikied this article? I just beginning to form it, so i need your suggestion. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Vinogradovisoleksii (talkcontribs) 18:24, 29 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Vinogradovisoleksii, while your efforts are appreciated, the article as it stands is not really appropriate for wikipedia, since it seems to be a how-to/personal analysis, and not really a sourced, encyclopedic overview of the "Wholesale VOIP business". Here is what I would suggest.
  • Read through WP:FIRST to get a better idea of how to write wikipedia articles.
  • Move the page to your userspace so that you can work on it at some leisure as you become more familiar with our policies, guidelines and manual of style. If the article stays in mainspace in its current state, it is likely to be deleted pretty soon.
Does that sound okay to you ? Abecedare (talk) 18:36, 29 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I have moved the article to User:Vinogradovisoleksii/Wholesale voip business where you can edit it to try to bring it in line with wikipedia policies, guidelines and manual of style. Do read WP:FIRST for helpful hints on how to do so.
Also I would suggest that you use the page User:Vinogradovisoleksii to tell us a bit about yourself and your editing interest (no personal details required!), instead of using it to work on the article. If you have any questions, feel free to contact me or any other experienced user on our talk page. Welcome to wikipedia. Abecedare (talk) 18:58, 29 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]

dear Abecedare. may you take time to review first edition of the company decription there
In order for wikipedia to have an article on a company, it should meet our notability guidelines, which you can read at WP:CORP. In short, the guidelines require that there should be several reliable sources (such as books, newspaper or magazine articles etc) that are independent of the company and have written about it in some detail. Currently it is not clear if Interexchange carrier meets this standard. So as a first step I would suggest that you search for sources that have written about this company (the company website etc, is not enough!). Also, in case you are an employee of, or otherwise involved with, IXC you should read our guidelines on conflict of interest. Abecedare (talk) 23:08, 29 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Welcome to Wikipedia. A page you recently created, User:Vinogradovisoleksii, may not conform to some of Wikipedia's guidelines for new pages, so it will shortly be removed (if it hasn't been already). Please use the sandbox for any tests, and consider using the Article Wizard. For more information about creating articles, you may want to read Your first article. You may also want to read our introduction page to learn more about contributing. Thank you. --Orange Mike | Talk 21:42, 30 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]

You should wait for others to write an article about subjects in which you are personally involved, as you did at User:Vinogradovisoleksii. This applies to articles about you, your achievements, your band, your business, your publications, your website, your relatives, and any other possible conflict of interest.

Creating an article about yourself is strongly discouraged. If you create such an article, it might be listed on articles for deletion. Deletion is not certain, but many feel strongly that you should not start articles about yourself. This is because independent creation encourages independent validation of both significance and verifiability. All edits to articles must conform to Wikipedia:No original research, Wikipedia:Neutral point of view, and Wikipedia:Verifiability.

If you are not "notable" under Wikipedia guidelines, creating an article about yourself may violate the policy that Wikipedia is not a personal webspace provider and would thus qualify for speedy deletion. If your achievements, etc., are verifiable and genuinely notable, and thus suitable for inclusion in Wikipedia, someone else will probably create an article about you sooner or later. (See Wikipedia:Wikipedians with articles.) Thank you. --Orange Mike | Talk 21:42, 30 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]
