Your contributed article, Intelligent Crows[edit]

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

Hello, I noticed that you recently created a new page, Intelligent Crows. First, thank you for your contribution; Wikipedia relies solely on the efforts of volunteers such as you. Unfortunately, the page you created covers a topic on which we already have a page – Corvus. Because of the duplication, your article has been tagged for speedy deletion. Please note that this is not a comment on you personally and we hope you will continue helping to improve Wikipedia. If the topic of the article you created is one that interests you, then perhaps you would like to help out at Corvus – you might like to discuss new information at the article's talk page.

If you think the article you created should remain separate, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you can place a request here. Additionally if you would like to have someone review articles you create before they go live so they are not nominated for deletion shortly after you post them, allow me to suggest the article creation process and using our search feature to find related information we already have in the encyclopedia. Try not to be discouraged. Wikipedia looks forward to your future contributions. reddogsix (talk) 03:37, 13 August 2016 (UTC)[reply]

You have been blocked temporarily from editing for persistent disruptive editing. Once the block has expired, you are welcome to make useful contributions. If you think there are good reasons why you should be unblocked, you may appeal this block by first reading the guide to appealing blocks, then adding the following text to the bottom of your talk page: {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}.  Acroterion (talk) 03:03, 14 August 2016 (UTC)[reply]

{{unblock|reason= I'm a new user in wikipedia and I don't know all the rules in here I'm just trying to create a new article about smart crows,but I don't have idea why I can't,sorry If I made any mistakes.}}

As several editors have explained, you are creating articles that duplicate the existing article on Corvus. Your re-creation of multiple articles with variations on the title is disruptive. There is potential scope for improving the intelligence section in that article, and it may be that an article on the Intelligence of corvids might be created, but I suggest that you work on such a topic in draft space or in a personal sandbox first and ask other editors for a review before posting it. Persistently posting the same material after it has been deleted and after the reason has been explained to you is disruptive. Since you continued to do this after two warnings from me, with no attempt on your part at response,, I blocked you as I had said I would. Acroterion (talk) 03:20, 14 August 2016 (UTC)[reply]
information Note to reviewing and blocking administrator Virkasite stopped by #Wikipedia-en-help on IRC and requested assistance with recreating this article. KSFT and I advised Virkasite that they should not attempt to recreate this article again. Virkasite was asked if they understood the reason behind their block and they were able to adequately explain that they were blocked due to recreating this article. They were also devised to wait until their block expired or was reviewed before editing again. It was also suggested they become more familiar with Wikipedia's policies. --Cameron11598 (Talk) 03:44, 14 August 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Please refrain from making unconstructive edits to Wikipedia, as you did at Corvus . Your edits appear to constitute vandalism and have been reverted. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. Repeated vandalism can result in the loss of editing privileges. Thank you. Materialscientist (talk) 11:50, 15 August 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Please do not simply paste in your preferred wording. It is disruptive to the article. Wikipedia is an integrated encyclopedia, not a collection of unrelated essays, and you must gain consensus that your edits are appropriate and helpful for a general audience. Simply pasting the same content over and over again without learning from teh advice given by multiple editors is unhelpful to the encyclopedia. You must learn to accept editing advice and to put it to use. Acroterion (talk) 11:55, 15 August 2016 (UTC)[reply]

AFC Decline Templates[edit]

Do not remove AFC decline templates from draft articles. The decline templates and comments are part of the history of the article and state that they should not be removed. Maybe you didn't notice this. Now you know. Robert McClenon (talk) 02:25, 16 August 2016 (UTC)[reply]

  • As I have said, Wikipedia is not a hosting service for school essays or presentations. As a courtesy, I have allowed your article to remain in your user space for a while, but note that in this form it is not suitable to become an encyclopedic article. (It is duplicate with material which already exists in other articles. It cites unreliable sources like TV Tropes and Cracked.com. It strays from its subject - if the article's subject is Intelligence of corvids, it should deal with that; general information about crows is off-topic. It is not written in the style of an encyclopedic article, either.)

    Please don't attempt to move the current version of the article to article space, or to link to it from other articles. - Mike Rosoft (talk) 04:43, 17 August 2016 (UTC)[reply]

  • As I had promised, I have now deleted the article. If you want to find an alternate outlet for it (e.g. a personal website or a blog) and didn't save its text, please e-mail me and I'll send it to you. - Mike Rosoft (talk) 19:18, 19 August 2016 (UTC)[reply]
