An Automated Message from HagermanBot

[edit]

Hello. In case you didn't know, when you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, you should sign your posts by typing four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. You may also click on the signature button located above the edit window. This will automatically insert a signature with your name and the time you posted the comment. This information is useful because other editors will be able to tell who said what, and when. Thank you! HagermanBot 11:57, 21 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

oh I see it. Thanks! --VirtualEarth 13:09, 21 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

No, I don't know him. It wasn't because of the content that I reverted your change. It was because you had changed the format of the introduction and there is a standard for the layout - see Wikipedia:Manual of Style (biographies). I should have explained, but I was having connection problems earlier, and I just forgot about it. Deb 19:45, 22 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

And also, there is only one "n" in "fluent"! Deb 19:46, 22 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Ah OK! --VirtualEarth 20:40, 22 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Transformer

[edit]

Hi there, and thanks for your edits to Transformer, picking up the fact in the lead that autotransfomers have only a single winding. I wanted to let you know that I did though return the two sentences on flux coupling back into the lead. My reasons for doing so were that without this, there was no description of what a transformer did in the lead, and that the same idea would then be repeated under Basic principles. Under WP:LEAD, the lead section should summarise the rest of the article, so I thought there should be something on mutual coupling and voltage transformation in the lead. Best regards, — BillC talk 18:14, 25 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

OK no prob! V. basic explanation now rewritten in lead.--VirtualEarth 21:27, 25 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]
