January 2020[edit]

Information icon Hello. Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia.

When editing Wikipedia, there is a field labeled "Edit summary" below the main edit box. It looks like this:

Edit summary (Briefly describe your changes)

Please be sure to provide a summary of every edit you make, even if you write only the briefest of summaries. The summaries are very helpful to people browsing an article's history.

Edit summary content is visible in:

Please use the edit summary to explain your reasoning for the edit, or a summary of what the edit changes. With a Wikipedia account you can give yourself a reminder to add an edit summary by setting Preferences → Editing → Tick Prompt me when entering a blank edit summary. Thanks! Disambiguation link notification for February 1[edit]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Chinese Singaporeans, you added links pointing to the disambiguation pages Balinese and Malays (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

It's OK to remove this message. Also, to stop receiving these messages, follow these opt-out instructions. Thanks, DPL bot (talk) 15:41, 1 February 2020 (UTC)[reply]

February 2020[edit]

Information icon Welcome to Wikipedia. We appreciate your contributions, but in one of your recent edits to Chinese Singaporeans, it appears that you have added original research, which is against Wikipedia's policies. Original research refers to material—such as facts, allegations, ideas, and personal experiences—for which no reliable, published sources exist; it also encompasses combining published sources in a way to imply something that none of them explicitly say. Please be prepared to cite a reliable source for all of your contributions. You can have a look at the tutorial on citing sources. Thank you. robertsky (talk) 07:15, 14 February 2020 (UTC)[reply]

unblock request[edit]

This user's unblock request has been reviewed by an administrator, who declined the request. Other administrators may also review this block, but should not override the decision without good reason (see the blocking policy).

Visalelia (block logactive blocksglobal blockscontribsdeleted contribsfilter logcreation logchange block settingsunblockcheckuser (log))

Request reason:

I don't know what I have been wrongly blocked for, I have only created a temporary account as I have forgotten my main account's username and password until I could remember. I was lucky that I found my main account password to set it as my only account so with that previous temporary account not being used anymore. Furthermore, I have only edited on the restricted pages only after my temporary block ended, I am not sure why I am being disallowed to edit on those pages after my block ended. Lastly I request that you investigate the sock puppet accounts Tookabreather, Dynasty-Warriors-Fan, Tiger7253.

Decline reason:

Your original account remains blocked. Until your original account is unblocked, you (you the person) aren't welcome here. You aren't permitted to set up accounts, like this, to get around your block. Yamla (talk) 20:34, 17 February 2020 (UTC)[reply]

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.
