COI or Paid?

[edit]

You have added a COI identifier to your User page. A reviewer has tagged the draft as possibly undisclosed paid. If you are not being paid or compensated in any way, delcare that here on your Talk page. That will justify an editor removing the tag. There is still strong evidence that the subject of the draft is not noteworthy in the English Wikipedia sense of the word, and hence unlikely the draft will be accepted. Notability criteria

[edit]

Hi there- I don't know if anyone has pointed you towards this WP:NPROF; basically its a list of the criteria used to gauge the notability for academics. If you have any reliable, independent sources that record your professor meets any of them, put them in the article. (It also helps to mention them in the lead). There is also WP:BIO which is a general guideline- although as academics don't tend to get written about by the general press, is usually easier for them to meet the specific academic criteria. English Wikipedia has different guidelines to a lot of the other Wikipedias, and the page reviewers do check if new articles meet them. Curdle (talk) 13:24, 17 October 2019 (UTC)[reply]
