Hello and thank you for the kind welcome. I find the editor software very confusing. I spent 2 to 3 days just getting lost in the maze of data. It would be easier to compose this data on a normal website, which I am contemplating doing. The reason why I wanted to post on Wikipedia was to share this information with other von Bothmer family members and hopefully encourage them to contribute more information about the family without having to go through a webmaster. So many notable noble families have taken active roles in history, but their lines are dying out and that history is being lost. It would be nice to preserve some of this information for future historians and family members. I will give it a few more tries, and it appears that I have not made enough edits to be able to add photos yet, so I will start to build the other pages. Speedy deletion of Family von Bothmer[edit]

A tag has been placed on Family von Bothmer requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about about a person, organization (band, club, company, etc.) or web content, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines.
