Your submission at Articles for creation[edit]

I noticed your submission in Articles for creation, Wikipedia talk:Articles for creation/Jaguar XJR-8. Thanks! It will be reviewed by a volunteer soon.

Before it can be added to Wikipedia, your submission should have references. All articles on Wikipedia should have inline, numbered references after facts, showing the 'reliable source' (a newspaper, book, etc.) where the information can be checked, so that all information is verifiable.

Here's a video tutorial - hit play, then right-click for "full screen".

Here's an example of how to add references:

Chzz is 98 years old.<ref> "The book of Chzz", Aardvark Books, 2009. </ref>

He likes tea.<ref> Smith, John. "[http://foonews.com/Article42 Interview with Chzz]", Foo News, 1 April 2010. Retrieved 2011-05-22. </ref>

== References ==

{{reflist}}

That makes the references automatically display as small numbers[1] which will link to the details in the section titled == References == at the end. You can see that example in action here.

Please add references to your submission, which will be reviewed as soon as possible. See also, Wikipedia:Referencing for beginners. If you need any help, just put {{helpme}} at the end of this page, followed by a question or get into our live help chat chanel at #wikipedia-en-help connect.

thanks for the help, and a bit on referencing[edit]

Hey, I see you're a new editor. Thank you for enthusiastically contributing to Wikipedia, and for your edits to Lifepak.

Your edit summary there did point to something about Wikipedia policy that I thought I should make clearer. You noted that your addition had no reference because these things are common knowledge to you. It's great that you want to share that knowledge, but in general it would really help if you could provide some reference source, even for things you already know. Wikpiedia has a strong policy of verifiability (you can read about it here) You ever hear people joking about how you can't trust something you read on Wikipedia? Well, it's true in some ways - I could just as easily have added that a Lifepak has purple wings and eats kitty cats, and claimed that as my knowledge... but if I have a reference (particularly a link to information on the web), then the user can go read that reference and know that they're not taking just my word or Wikipedia's word for it. So I've edited down your addition a bit and added a little tag like this: [citation needed] to the text, so that anyone else who comes along and knows of a source for that information can add it as a reference.

Thanks again for chipping in, and I look forward to you doing a lot of good things here! --Nat Gertler (talk) 20:22, 29 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]

ACLS[edit]

The formal review articles are freely available. This ref http://acls-algorithms.com/hsandts contains wrong stuff (there are no 2012 ACLS guidelines for example ) and thus not suitable per WP:MEDRS Cheers Doc James (talk · contribs · email) 04:09, 31 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]
