Welcome to Wikipedia

Hello, WHeimbigner, and welcome to Wikipedia! Wikipedia is one of the world's fastest growing internet sites. We aim to build the biggest and most comprehensive encyclopaedia in the world. To date we have over four million articles in a host of languages. The English language Wikipedia alone has over one million articles! But we still need more! Please feel free to contribute your knowledge and expertise to our site.

If you need help see:

Here are a few more good links for newcomers:

non admin rollback and warning tools

[edit]

With all the great work you do I thought I'd make like a lot easier for ya - so, I have added non admin rollback and warning tools for you. They really rock!

So, can you please clear your cache (hit CTRL-R) and then when you see some vandalism use the RED rollback link. This should rollback the edit but also open the vandals talk page (turn popups off if it doesnt) and, whats best is there you should see an extra tab at the top next to history and one press and they are warned! (you still get to choose the warning) - see if that works :) Let me know if you like!  Glen  03:33, 13 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

PS: If not your thing just say the word and Ill remove immediately... but that'll definitely not happen! :)' Enjoy!

Congratulations!!!!

Fidel Castro

[edit]

You reverted my edit on the Fidel Castro article. Please comment on the talk page.--Zleitzen 07:02, 16 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Uhhh

[edit]

Are you going to actually contribute something besides just reverting pages?

No Life

[edit]

Someday, you'll get a girlfriend and all this wikipedia shit will just seem like a bad memory, or not. Come, join with me and together we can rule the wikiverse as father and son. Best regards 72.129.35.107 05:11, 17 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

In addition, don't delete comments from your user talk page, it's unwiki. Thanks, Son of Jimbo

10 points for making me laugh my ass off. First you vandalize my user page, saying that i'm homosexual, then you tell me I'll get a girl friend someday. You're down right hilarious! WHeimbigner 05:14, 17 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks!

[edit]

Thank you for the quick revert of the vandalism to my talk page, and for your quick addition of 69.125.207.205 to AIV. I do appreciate it. --JFreeman (talk) 22:51, 18 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Glad to help! WHeimbigner 22:52, 18 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

You reverted without comment the Stones article to copy the is indefensible. Mr Anonymous.

Warnings given to users.

[edit]

I see you've given this IP user a lot of test4 warnings, however you haven't reported him. Just curious why...giving 10 last warnings seems to defeat the point. JoshHolloway 12:49, 21 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Normally I would, but VandalProof doesn't have a button for that, and I wasn't connected to IRC at the time.
Fair enough :) JoshHolloway 12:52, 21 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Vandalism which is "vandalism"!

[edit]

Hey there, just posting on your talk page to make sure you get my message. [1] Mathmo Talk 12:52, 21 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

i have not vandalized anything you idiot! try reading the article before you start throwing accusations!--207.69.137.23 16:36, 21 December 2006 (UTC) Furthermore, I am routed through a PeoplePC proxy, so those previous comments are not regarding anything to do with ME--207.69.137.23 16:46, 21 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

What???

[edit]

I didn't do any vandalism. At that moment, I was reverting vandalism using ARV 2.1 . See, [2]. Hope you will retake your warning message. Thank you. --♪♫ ĽąĦĩŘǔ ♫♪ Walkie-talkie 16:40, 21 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Welcome to Wikipedia. It might not have been your intention, but your recent edit removed content from Wikipedia. When removing text, please specify a reason in the edit summary and discuss edits that are likely to be controversial on the article's talk page. If this was a mistake, don't worry; the text has been restored, as you can see from the page history. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia, and if you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. Thank you.

Please do not delete content or templates from pages on Wikipedia without explaining the valid reason for the removal in the edit summary. Your content removal does not appear constructive, and has been reverted. Please make use of the sandbox if you'd like to experiment with test edits. Thank you.

Men's rights movement notice

[edit]

Information icon Thank you for your contributions to the encyclopedia! In case you are not already aware, an article to which you have recently contributed, Men's rights movement, is on article probation. A detailed description of the terms of article probation may be found at Talk:Men's rights movement/Article probation. Also note that the terms of some article probations extend to related articles and their associated talk pages.

The above is a templated message. Please accept it as a routine friendly notice, not as a claim that there is any problem with your edits. Thank you. -- Bbb23 (talk) 16:01, 11 September 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
