A tag has been placed on your user page, User:WP.Raj Sharma, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page appears to be blatant advertising which only promotes or publicises a company, product, group or service. This is a violation of our policies regarding acceptable use of user pages — user pages are intended for active editors of Wikipedia to communicate with one another as part of the process of creating encyclopedic content, and should not be mistaken for free webhosting resources or advertising space. Please read the guidelines on spam, the guidelines on user pages, and, especially, our FAQ for Organizations.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. Global Artificial Intelligence Summit & Awards (GAISA), which you submitted to Articles for creation, has been created.

Congratulations, and thank you for helping expand the scope of Wikipedia! We hope you will continue making quality contributions.

The article has been assessed as Stub-Class, which is recorded on its talk page. It is commonplace for new articles to start out as stubs and then attain higher grades as they develop over time. You may like to take a look at the grading scheme to see how you can improve the article.

Since you have made at least 10 edits over more than four days, you can now create articles yourself without posting a request. However, you may continue submitting work to Articles for creation if you prefer.

If you have any questions, you are welcome to ask at the help desk. Once you have made at least 10 edits and had an account for at least four days, you will have the option to create articles yourself without posting a request to Articles for creation.

If you would like to help us improve this process, please consider leaving us some feedback.

Thanks again, and happy editing!

You're welcome. The current references are just bare URLs and need to be formatted using the 'cite web' template. To help you, I have done the first one for you. I would advise doing this for the other references as it is more professional and helps protect the reference against WP:LINKROT Spiderone(Talk to Spider) 15:12, 27 November 2022 (UTC)[reply]
I highly appreciate your support. I did the same thing with other links also. I hope its ok now. WP.Raj Sharma (talk) 17:55, 27 November 2022 (UTC)[reply]
It's almost ready. The references are all fixed except for #5 and #14 which are still URL only. The article does need some small grammar corrections which I will help with when next online. Spiderone(Talk to Spider) 21:54, 27 November 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Hello WP.Raj Sharma. The nature of your edits gives the impression you have an undisclosed financial stake in promoting a topic, but you have not complied with Wikipedia's mandatory paid editing disclosure requirements. Paid advocacy is a category of conflict of interest (COI) editing that involves being compensated by a person, group, company or organization to use Wikipedia to promote their interests. Undisclosed paid advocacy is prohibited by our policies on neutral point of view and what Wikipedia is not, and is an especially serious type of COI; the Wikimedia Foundation regards it as a "black hat" practice akin to black-hat search-engine optimization.

Paid advocates are very strongly discouraged from direct article editing, and should instead propose changes on the talk page of the article in question if an article exists. If the article does not exist, paid advocates are extremely strongly discouraged from attempting to write an article at all. At best, any proposed article creation should be submitted through the articles for creation process, rather than directly.

Regardless, if you are receiving or expect to receive compensation for your edits, broadly construed, you are required by the Wikimedia Terms of Use to disclose your employer, client and affiliation. You can post such a mandatory disclosure to your user page at User:WP.Raj Sharma. The template {{Paid}} can be used for this purpose – e.g. in the form: {{paid|user=WP.Raj Sharma|employer=InsertName|client=InsertName}}. If I am mistaken – you are not being directly or indirectly compensated for your edits – please state that in response to this message. Otherwise, please provide the required disclosure. In either case, do not edit further until you answer this message. — Ingenuity (talk • contribs) 17:44, 30 November 2022 (UTC)[reply]

As previously advised, your edits give the impression you have a financial stake in promoting a topic, but you have not complied with Wikipedia's mandatory paid editing disclosure requirements. You were asked to cease editing until you responded by either stating that you are not being directly or indirectly compensated for your edits, or by complying with the mandatory requirements under the Wikimedia Terms of Use that you disclose your employer, client and affiliation. Again, you can post such a disclosure on your user page at User:WP.Raj Sharma, and the template {{Paid}} can be used for this purpose – e.g. in the form: {{paid|user=WP.Raj Sharma|employer=InsertName|client=InsertName}}. Please respond before making any other edits to Wikipedia. Giraffer (talk·contribs) 09:43, 4 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. We appreciate your contributions; however, it appears you may have written a Wikipedia article, or a draft for a Wikipedia article, about yourself, at Rajkumar Sharma (technocrat). Creating an autobiography is strongly discouraged – please see our guideline on writing autobiographies. If you create such an article, it may be deleted. If what you have done in life is genuinely notable and can be verified according to our policy for articles about living people, someone else will probably create an article about you sooner or later (see Wikipedians with articles). If you wish to add to or change an existing article about yourself, you are welcome to propose the changes by visiting the article's talk page. Please understand that this is an encyclopedia and not a personal web space or social networking site. If your article has already been deleted, please see: Why was the page I created deleted?, and if you feel the deletion was an error, please discuss this with the deleting administrator. Thank you. -- Deepfriedokra (talk) 15:01, 4 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Speedy deletion nomination of AICRA

[edit]

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on AICRA, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, group, product, service, person, or point of view and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become encyclopedic. Please read the guidelines on spam and Wikipedia:FAQ/Organizations for more information.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". Hi, I hope my answer suffices you. I've gone through all guidelines and followed same. There is no violation. There are pages of similar kind of organizations written in same way. I've given reference to all statements which are from verified agencies. Rather being so harsh and proceeding for speedy deletion, highlighting specific issue and suggesting solution would be appreciable. Such actions actually discourage for genuine contribution. thx WP.Raj Sharma (talk) 04:07, 5 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]

I'll also add that you seem to be the person, based on your username, who is president of the parent company (AICRA), as per your own website. You should not be writing about yourself or your own company as per WP:COI. Bungle (talkcontribs) 14:45, 4 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Same user name doesnt mean that website belongs to me. Also the article I've posted is very much relevant to community and I've not at all violated any policy. All statement in articles has proper reference and citation. pl check. Rather being so harsh, you may guide to improve if there is any mistake. That is appreciable. WP.Raj Sharma (talk) 16:05, 4 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Coming here with an account named Raj Sharma, and then creating several articles, promotional in nature, all of which seem to affiliated with a company which has a connection to a president named Raj Sharma, is a bridge too far and no co-incidence. Outright denying this is also disappointing. Several other editors share the same sentiment that the material, at least in the presented form, does not warrant inclusion. You should read the block notice below and appeal if you believe you have been treated harshly. Bungle (talkcontribs) 16:10, 4 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]

  1. You are blocked for "advertising or promotion", not for failing to provide references and citations. It is perfectly possible to write a promotional page and include references and citain it, and I can't imagine why you think it isn't.
  2. You were given plenty of warning about conflict of interest, promotional editing, and related matters on the talk page of an earlier account, but you continued in the same way with this account. JBW (talk) 21:21, 4 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]
It simply your imagination that I'm doing promotion. If I go by this logic, all kind of information should be considered as promotion. I simply tried to add and contribute to Wikipedia community. Since beginning, I always tried to follow wiki guidelines and tried to improve upon. but my experience with certain administration is not good. Since you think that my contribution is wrong, wont make it wrong and I clearly object it. My whole genuine efforts gone down the drain and not able to continue further. Hello, WP.Raj Sharma. Thank you for helping to build Wikipedia-- the world's largest free content encyclopedia. The page AICRA has been speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This was done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seemed to be unambiguous advertising which only promoted a company, group, product, service, person, or point of view and would need to have been fundamentally rewritten in order to become encyclopedic. Please read the guidelines on spam and Wikipedia:FAQ/Organizations for more information.

This article needs to be rewritten from scratch from reliable, third party sources unconnected to the subject. Wikipedia is an encyclopedia. It is not an outlet for promotion, advocacy, or advertising.

Information on content and common pitfalls to avoid can be located here and here, however be aware that this is not an exhaustive list. Pages can sometimes avoid these pitfalls and still be seen as an ad copy or unambiguously promotional, particularly if the editor appears to be a paid editor or has some other conflict of interest. Please review these policies, including the FAQ page on organizations to determine if this applies to you.

Common mistakes or beliefs about promotional editing center on the assumption that promotional editing only applies to promotion for commercial gain. Some tags or G11 nominations are met with confusion by creators, particularly if they spend much time reading or creating corporate documents, mission/vision statements, or similar copy for their organization. The frequent exposure to promotional tone may make it difficult to notice non-neutral phrases or styles, as the editor has grown accustomed to seeing it as everyday writing or speech. This can be difficult, but not impossible, to unlearn.

Another common assumption is that the prohibition against promotional editing applies only to businesses or organizations. Anything can be promoted, including a person, a non-commercial organization, a point of view, etc. and CV/resumé's are by their nature promotional.

Wikipedia is an encyclopedia-- subjects must meet notability guidelines with reliable sources that are unconnected with the subject and providing verifiable information. That generally means someone unconnected with the subject needs to have written a great deal about the subject. Please see this page on citing sources. This page has templates you can use in citing your sources. Place the template {{Reflist}} at the bottom of the page, and references cited in the text will appear there. New article creation can be difficult, but the Article Wizard can help you. The new user tutorial can help you avoid future problems. You can also ask for help at the TEAHOUSE and on IRC chat.

New article creation can be difficult and frustrating. Sometimes it is better to first gain experience by fixing and helping maintain existing articles. Wikipedia:Community portal/Opentask contains links to things that badly need doing, if you are so inclined. -- Deepfriedokra (talk) 20:45, 4 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Request reason:

Your reason here is that reason of blocking my IP stating the reasons are absolutely incorrect. I gathered information and contributed to wiki with verified references and citations. Since I have detailed knowledge of the industry and activities happening around, I tried to share. It just an assumptions that I have close common relations with the person or organization for which I've written article and created page. At the beginning, I created the account with the similar name as I didnt know much about wiki. I thought that I need to create the account with the same name for which I've to write article. If you closely observe my contribution, its not at all advertisement and promotion. I hope the community would understand my point of view and unblock the account. thx WP.Raj Sharma (talk) 03:35, 26 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Decline reason:

I'm not seeing a path to being unblocked without an agreement to not edit about Sharma. 331dot (talk) 08:09, 26 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

Your account appears to be (at least) the (4+4) ninth account to make this mistake. It stretches credibility. Cabayi (talk) 07:53, 26 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]
This is what I wish to highlight. Initially it can be a mistake but if you closely observe, every time I've answered and gave proper supporting references to my articles. WP.Raj Sharma (talk) 07:58, 26 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]
OK how to do this agreement now? WP.Raj Sharma (talk) 08:29, 26 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]
If you wish to highlight your use of multiple accounts:
to promote yourself and your business interests:
you've succeeded. Most of your accounts were softblocked (allowing you to continue editing under a different account) but AICRA Delhi was hard-blocked on 30 Sept 2022. All your edits since then, on any account, will have been block evasion. Cabayi (talk) 08:56, 26 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Now what is to be done so I be unblocked. WP.Raj Sharma (talk) 09:24, 26 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]
You can read the case at Wikipedia:Sockpuppet investigations/WP.Raj Sharma and post a response here if you wish. I, or another editor, will crosspost your response to the investigation.
Across 11 or more accounts and 4 years you've been totally focussed on promoting yourself and your enterprises. What benefit would you bring to the encyclopedia if unblocked? What explanation do you have for the use of so many accounts and repeatedly choosing promotional usernames? Cabayi (talk) 09:39, 26 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Opening account 4years back and not being active doesnt mean that it would happen in future. thats why I've contributed in past few months. 2nd, what makes you realize that I'm promoting myself and my enterprises? I'm an individual and have expertise in technology sector. I can share what Information I have and what goes around me. I clearly stated earlier that I opened account with the same as I didnt know much about it. WP.Raj Sharma (talk) 12:44, 26 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]
