Vandalism?

[edit]

Thank you for trying to keep Wikipedia free of vandalism. However, one or more edits you labeled as vandalism, such as the edit at List of WWE personnel, are not considered vandalism under Wikipedia policy. Wikipedia has a stricter definition of the word "vandalism" than common usage, and mislabeling edits as vandalism can discourage newer editors. Please read Wikipedia:NOTVAND for more information on what is and is not considered vandalism. Thank you.

A vandal doesn't typically leave a clear edit summary explaining how the change benefits the article; one might simply yell "VANDALISM!" and revert with no further explanation. Compare.

From the Wikipedia linking policy: Do not unnecessarily make a reader chase links: if a highly technical term can be simply explained with very few words, do so. Also use a link, but do not make a reader be forced to use that link to understand the sentence, especially if this requires going into nested links (a link that goes to a page with another technical term needed to be linked, which goes to a page with a link to another technical term, and so on). Don't assume that readers will be able to access a link at all, as, for example, they might have printed an article and be reading the hard copy on paper.

So by linking "Unknown" to Kazma (wrestler), instead of "Kazma", you're only making things harder for readers. Do you have a reason (other than "VANDALISM!") for doing this? InedibleHulk (talk) 01:12, 4 October 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Unsourced information

[edit]

Please do not add or change content without verifying it by citing reliable sources, as you did to Mason Ryan. Please review the guidelines at Wikipedia:Citing sources and take this opportunity to add references to the article. Thank you. Papacha (talk) 02:39, 7 October 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Please do not add unreferenced or poorly referenced information, especially if controversial, to articles or any other page on Wikipedia about living persons. Thank you. - You can not reference unreliable sources as support on biographies of living persons, particularly self-published social networking sites that claim to be *that* person that are unauthenticated and whose content is in question, as they can be potentially libelous. This can not be stated any more clearly. Thanks. Papacha (talk)

Please stop adding unsourced content. This contravenes Wikipedia's policy on verifiability. If you continue to do so, you may be blocked from editing Wikipedia. Please, stop. A lot of user have reverted your editions. One more and you'll be banned. --HHH Pedrigree (talk) 21:09, 14 October 2012 (UTC)[reply]

This is your last warning. The next time you add unsourced material to Wikipedia, you may be blocked from editing without further notice. This is your last vandalism. We told you one hundred times, you need soucres saying that Masters, Domino and the others are in TNA.--HHH Pedrigree (talk) 21:52, 15 October 2012 (UTC)[reply]
You have been blocked from editing for a period of 3 days for persistent addition of unsourced material, and ignoring warnings to cease this behavior, the most recent violation being this edit to A. J. Lee. Once the block has expired, you are welcome to make useful contributions. If you think there are good reasons why you should be unblocked, you may appeal this block by adding below this notice the text {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}, but you should read the guide to appealing blocks first. Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that you've added some links pointing to disambiguation pages. Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Robbie Brookside, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Trainer (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver).
