Eamon Zayed[edit]

Hi there and thanks for dropping by the Irish football section of Wiki! I have reverted your edits to Eamon's page because, regardless of his background, he has played at international level for Ireland and is Irish born.Perhaps an addition to his article mentioning his Libyan background would be a good addition? Anyhow, have a great day! Downunda 21:56, 18 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Infoboxes and Flags[edit]

Hi there, great job with the volleyball player infoboxes! However I'd like to ask you: Please, do not add flags in infoboxes. These flags deform infoboxes in some browsers such as IE6. Thank you and keep up the good work, cheers! —Lesfer (t/c/@) 03:18, 17 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Yep, I know that, it's useful, nice and beautiful, but still... flags deform infoboxes. Unfortunately. —Lesfer (t/c/@) 14:25, 17 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

F.C. Internazionale Milano 2007-08[edit]

Hi, I've seen you created and are maintain F.C. Internazionale Milano 2007-08, good work. I've created templates to be used in pages like that (like fb ss player, for Squad statistic) and I'm helping people with that kind of page. I realize this article have some table that looks very similar to table generated by some existent templates, like Competition Overall. If you don't mind, I could redo them using templates, so they will be easy to edit. Also, some templates that are not exactly like table used there could be adapted, like Matches Competitive. So, let me know if you want some help. Regards.--ClaudioMB 16:56, 23 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I already changed some tables using templates. Also, please, take a look at User:ClaudioMB/Inter. That could be the Squad information table. If it is good for you, copy it to a subpage in use user page and enter the data. After ready, make a single copy to Inter page. If you have any suggestion on the table, please feel free. Regards. --ClaudioMB 01:14, 24 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]
I didn't a overhaul in Squad statistics. I hope that will be an improvement. Regards. --ClaudioMB 02:57, 25 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]
No problem at all. I'll do it soon. By the way, what do you think of adding Start formation and Most frequent start on the article. I added them into my Inter page (with data from Arsenal), so you could check it out. Regards. --ClaudioMB 02:28, 26 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Done. First, now the competitions for App and goals could be set. You could change the order, letters (in the header) and keys (in the footer). That will make useful for other articles as well. Second, temporarily, you have to use the templates test, test2 and test3. That's because I have to change other articles to those new template's versions. Third, I realized the order in Squad information is L/C/E/S and in Squad statistics is L/E/C/S. Maybe you want to change one of those to both be on the same order. Any improvement else, tell me. Regards. --ClaudioMB 00:38, 27 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Here a suggestion for the matches table. Regards. --ClaudioMB 06:01, 1 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Manual of Style for club season articles[edit]

As you have often contribute to club season articles, I believe this and this are pretty much of your interest.--ClaudioMB 15:50, 12 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Ben/Benjamin[edit]

I'm not changing your redirect, because I personally think Benjamin is better than Ben, but this was discussed before and the general consensus was to leave it at Ben as that's the name he's most commonly called.--CyberGhostface (talk) 14:35, 25 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Also, please do not move pages by cutting and pasting the contents from one page to another as you recently did with Ben Linus/Benjamin Linus. Cut-and-paste moves are very undesirable because they split the article's history, which is needed for attribution and is helpful in many other ways. The mechanism we use for renaming an article is to move it to a new name which both preserves the page's history and automatically creates a redirect from the old title to the new. In most cases, you should be able to move an article yourself using the "Move" tab at the top of the page. If there is an article that you cannot move yourself by this process, follow the instructions at Wikipedia:Requested moves to request the move by another. Also, if there are any other articles that you copied and pasted, even if it was a long time ago, please list them at Wikipedia:Cut and paste move repair holding pen so that they can be fixed. Thank you, mattbr 20:56, 29 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Futsal changes[edit]

Hi I noticed you made a few changes in all the futsal leagues such as this edit. May I ask the reasoning behind it? The category "Futsal leagues" was perfectly fine and was a good way to find the leagues in different countries, I really don't understand what the "National Futsal League" category you created means at all. IMO, it's confusing and furthermore the category itself is not part of any major category (such as Category:Futsal). Bruno18 (talk) 14:44, 1 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Request for wider input on discussion at WikiProject Tennis[edit]

Hi, there is an extremely long and muddled discussion going on at WP:Tennis about the tournament tables found on tennis player articles (i.e. this type of table), and I'm notifying you as you identified yourself as a member of the project. The dispute is over the "Tournament Name" column, with the options being to either use the "sponsored tournament name" - in other words, the name involving the sponsor, for example Internazionali BNL d'Italia - or the "non-sponsored tournament name" - in other words, Rome Masters. I appreciate that this conversation is very long and convoluted, so a brief summary can be found here, which is also where I request the discussion continues. Thanks, rst20xx (talk) 23:08, 3 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Taskforce on Football variants[edit]

Wael Mogherbi, we would like you to become a member of the Football Variants Taskforce of WikiProject Football.

Hello Wael Mogherbi, it is nice to meet you. I came across your page when I went through the list of people who had edited articles in this category about Football variants, and I wondered if you were intrested in joining a new taskforce that covers this category, as we are looking for members. Thank you for your time - DeMoN2009

Your RfA[edit]

Hey. Your request for adminship seems to be very unlikely to pass this time. Do you want me to close it? — Aitias // discussion 02:32, 15 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Your Request for adminship[edit]

Hi Wael Mogherbi, I'm sorry to inform you that I've closed your request for adminship early because it was unlikely to succeed. For users to be granted admin status, they have to show that they are trusted members of the community. Individual editors each have their own standards for adminship candidates, but here are a few tips that may help you pass the next time round:

  • Wait a bit longer before your next request. Many Wikipedians think that the length of time that users should be active on the project to get a firm grasp of all the policies and guidelines is roughly 3 months.
  • Try to make some more edits. Administrators need to show they have a thorough understanding of policy, so it would be a good idea for you to contribute in wikipedia space, article space and talk space to show you can communicate with others.

You may wish to take a look at the admin coaching program, which would allow you to have your own coach who could personally direct you along the right path, or consider an editor review, allowing other users to comment on your edits and give you ways to improve. The guide to requests for adminship provides further considerations to make before applying again. Let me thank you for your contributions so far, and if you follow the above advice, there is no reason why you can not have a successful RfA in the future. Futsal peer review[edit]

The article Futsal is undergoing a peer review, and several things that can be improved have been noted on the articles peer review page. As an editor that has spent time improving the article, I wondered what your opinion would be on the changes suggested. DeMoN2009 14:57, 13 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Possible Co-operation ?[edit]

Hey, this is b.t.1994, I am also a major editor, working on Libyan football; I have written the articles for the previous three seasons of the Libyan Premier League (2007-08, 2008-09 & 2009-10); I have also started articles for all editions of the Libyan Cup, the Libyan SuperCup, Libyan Second Division. I have started several player articles, and the 2009 African Championship of Nations. I was wondering whether we could work together on some articles, and also whether you could help me create user navigation boxes, as I have seen on your page.

Thank you

File source and copyright licensing problem with File:The-killers-abu-dhabi.JPG[edit]

File Copyright problem
File Copyright problem

Thanks for uploading File:The-killers-abu-dhabi.JPG. I noticed that the file's description page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you did not create this file yourself, you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, then a link to the website from which it was taken, together with a restatement of that website's terms of use of its content, is usually sufficient information. However, if the copyright holder is different from the website's publisher, their copyright should also be acknowledged.

As well as adding the source, we also need to know the terms of the license that the copyright holder has published the file under, usually done by adding a licensing tag. If you created/took the picture, audio, or video then the {{GFDL-self}} tag can be used to release it under the GFDL. If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Non-free content, use a tag such as {{non-free fair use in|article name}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:Image copyright tags#Fair use. See Wikipedia:Image copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their source and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link. Unsourced and untagged files may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If the file is copyrighted under a non-free license (per Wikipedia:Fair use) then the file will be deleted 48 hours after 03:57, 22 December 2009 (UTC). If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Salavat (talk) 03:57, 22 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]
