Using locomotive images[edit]

Well, all material published in Wikipedia has a more or less free license, so, provided you follow the instructions on the particular file's page, e.g. credit the creator in the way specified, imposing the same restrictions on subsequent use, there should be no problem. However, since you mention you found the material on "a website", I cannot be sure that you are referring to a Wikipedia page. If not, I have no idea what page you have seen, so please post the link on my talk page. Greetings, --Janke | Talk 21:51, 31 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]

  • OK, now I remember that image. However, it was released to Wikipedia in a simpler, monochrome version, which apparently doesn't exist anymore. If the color version doesn't have a free license, then there is nothing I can do to help you, since I have never been in contact with the author.
