If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Revwandac requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a person or group of people, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think that the page was nominated in error, contest the nomination by clicking on the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion" in the speedy deletion tag. Doing so will take you to the talk page where you can explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. You can also visit the page's talk page directly to give your reasons, but be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but do not hesitate to add information that is consistent with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, you can contact one of these administrators to request that the administrator userfy the page or email a copy to you. - MrX 20:14, 22 October 2012 (UTC)[reply]

October 2012[edit]

Please do not write or add to an article about yourself, as you apparently did at Revwandac. Creating an autobiography is strongly discouraged – see our guideline on writing autobiographies. If you create such an article, it may be deleted. If what you have done in life is genuinely notable and can be verified according to our policy for articles about living people, someone else will probably create an article about you sooner or later (see Wikipedians with articles). If you wish to add to an existing article about yourself, please propose the changes on its talk page. Please understand that this is an encyclopedia and not a personal web space or social networking site. If your article has already been deleted, please see: Why was my page deleted?, and if you feel the deletion was an error, please discuss it with the deleting administrator. Thank you. - MrX 20:25, 22 October 2012 (UTC)[reply]

I don't understand the purpose of your edit but what I wanted to do was communicated the work and document its history. I read the guidelines and I was not soliciting anyone for anything. Each statement is a matter of history and it speaks of the civil right activities of myself and the organization if this is not the purpose of Wikipedia then I apologize and surely delete as quickly as you can.

Certainly no one is claiming that you are soliciting anyone. I'm not sure where that idea came from.

The article does not have any references (source citations) to establish that the subject (you?) are sufficiently notable for inclusion in the encyclopedia. If you are able to add sources, then you can click on the click here to contest this speedy deletion button on the page and provide an explanation. Or you can just use this time to add sourse citations from newspapers, magazines, books or news web sites.

Also, please be aware that our policies strongly discourage writing autobiographies. Please review the links near the top of this page for information on how to create new article and feel free to ask questions here if you need additional help. - MrX 20:45, 22 October 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Just to add a little to that: Wikipedia is not a "notice-board" site like Myspace or Facebook for people to write about themselves. The reasons why that is strongly discouraged are explained in Wikipedia is not about YOU and Wikipedia:Autobiography. Regards, JohnCD (talk) 22:15, 22 October 2012 (UTC)[reply]
