3RR

[edit]

Just a friendly reminder that you're at 3 reverts on the Derek Smart article for today. Ehheh 21:00, 5 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Really? I thought it was two. Thanks for the headsup though. WarHawkSP 21:20, 5 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

When editing the article, do not remove sourced material. Unsourced material may be removed per WP:V, but removal of sourced material is frowned upon and may violate wikipedia policy. I refer specifically to the daily victim references that you removed. SWATJester Ready Aim Fire! 06:32, 7 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

talk page removal

[edit]

Please do not remove other people's comments from talk pages. In addition, please do not confuse talk page discussion with violations of WP:BLP and accuse others of vandalism, that is not in good faith. In general, the only reason to remove another person's talk page comments is to remove direct personal attacks against another editor, and even that is not policy, merely a guideline. SWATJester On Belay! 01:49, 15 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

He wasnt offering an opinion. He is doing exactly what he did on Usenet by accusing Smart of academic fraud. How can you NOT see that. Also, according to policy, such material CAN be removed from talk pages. You might want to read this, which is what am going by. Look, this guy is bad news. He has no business on this Wiki other than to taint it and inject his rhetoric on others.
I am also going by the tag at the very top of the talk page which CLEARLY states thus
This article must adhere to the policy on biographies of living persons. Controversial material of any kind that is unsourced or poorly sourced must be removed immediately, especially if potentially libelous. If such material is repeatedly inserted or there are other concerns relative to this policy, report it on the living persons biographies noticeboard.
Anyway, I sent Smart an email earlier this week and this morning he tells me that he is going to contact Jimbo Wales directly, since there are strict rules which allow pages about people to contact them if there are such issues of libel. WarHawkSP 12:39, 15 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Incivility

[edit]

It seems to me that you are acting in an uncivil manner. Please remain civil and don't resort to making personal attacks or instigating edit wars. (note, this template refers to your accusations against me on BLP Notice board. You need to remain civil and learn to follow the rules of behavior. Even if you were right in your arguments, you'd be violating policy with incivil accusations and personal attacks.) SWATJester On Belay! 09:18, 18 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Duly noted; but I wasn't being uncivil nor was it my intent. Sorry. WarHawkSP 17:44, 18 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

BLP discussion

[edit]

Your edit removed Kerr Avon's comment. - (Nuggetboy) (talk) (contribs) 21:17, 18 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

It was intentional. Please read the guidelines for editing on the notice board. If he has a comment to make, he can make it in a SEPARATE section instead of embedding it inside my section. WarHawkSP 00:53, 19 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]
