Please do not add commentary or your own personal analysis to Wikipedia articles, as you did to Lighthouse Beach, Great Fish River. Doing so violates Wikipedia's neutral point of view policy and breaches the formal tone expected in an encyclopedia. Thank you. Elton Bunny (talk) 14:12, 7 June 2012 (UTC)

The article Secrets Beach, Port Elizabeth has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Article is unencyclopedic. Unlikely to meet notability criteria.

While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. File permission problem with File:Portrait photo of the Rt Revd Ebenezer St Mark Ntlali, Bishop of Grahamstown.jpg

Thanks for uploading File:Portrait photo of the Rt Revd Ebenezer St Mark Ntlali, Bishop of Grahamstown.jpg. I noticed that while you provided a valid copyright licensing tag, there is no proof that the creator of the file has agreed to release it under the given license.

If you are the copyright holder for this media entirely yourself but have previously published it elsewhere (especially online), please either

  • make a note permitting reuse under the CC-BY-SA or another acceptable free license (see this list) at the site of the original publication; or
  • Send an email from an address associated with the original publication to permissions-en@wikimedia.org, stating your ownership of the material and your intention to publish it under a free license. You can find a sample permission letter here. If you take this step, add {{OTRS pending}} to the file description page to prevent premature deletion.

If you did not create it entirely yourself, please ask the person who created the file to take one of the two steps listed above, or if the owner of the file has already given their permission to you via email, please forward that email to permissions-en@wikimedia.org.

If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Non-free content, use a tag such as {{non-free fair use}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:File copyright tags#Fair use, and add a rationale justifying the file's use on the article or articles where it is included. See Wikipedia:File copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have provided evidence that their copyright owners have agreed to license their works under the tags you supplied, too. You can find a list of files you have created in your upload log. Files lacking evidence of permission may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. You may wish to read the Wikipedia's image use policy. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Stefan2 (talk) 13:25, 27 September 2013 (UTC)

Ways to improve Brigalia Bam

Hi, I'm Smd49. Waynejayes, thanks for creating Brigalia Bam!

I've just tagged the page, using our page curation tools, as having some issues to fix. This is overall a good and useful article, but you might want to consider removing some of the more personal comment in the 'Professional Life' section.

The tags can be removed by you or another editor once the issues they mention are addressed. If you have questions, you can leave a comment on my talk page. Or, for more editing help, talk to the volunteers at the Teahouse. Smd49 (talk) 08:58, 28 September 2013 (UTC)

Anglicanismproject template

Hi Wayne, you've added the {{Anglicanismproject}} template to a couple of articles, so I thought I should just point out that that template is supposed to be added to the top of the talk page of the article, not to the article itself. Cheers, htonl (talk) 10:31, 1 October 2013 (UTC)

Thank you htonl, I've fixed it, live and learn

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on John Mee requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a person or group of people, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please read more about what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, you can place a request here. Sionk (talk) 21:54, 1 October 2013 (UTC)

Speedy deletion nomination of Aelred Stubbs

Hello Waynejayes,

I wanted to let you know that I just tagged Aelred Stubbs for deletion, because the article doesn't clearly say why the subject is important enough to be included in an encyclopedia.

If you feel that the article shouldn't be deleted and want more time to work on it, you can contest this deletion, but please don't remove the speedy deletion tag from the top.

You can leave a note on my talk page if you have questions. Sulfurboy (talk) 02:28, 6 October 2013 (UTC)
