Gul panag[edit]

Hello Latesh,

Per wikipedia rules (WP:V) every piece of data added to an article should have a source. I see you are changing her dob based on her official page here - [1]. But in this page, there is no dob given. I believe this is the reason managerarc is reverting back your edits to the previous version. The solution for this would be to change Ms. Panag's page and update it with the actual dob and then change it here in wikipedia. So please update her page and rest should be fine. --Sodabottle (talk) 10:34, 5 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]

(talk page stalker) I just saw your message on Sodabottle's talkpage. I want to inform you that editing your own article or someone else's article on behalf of that person amounts to a violation of WP:COI and is not permitted cause we believe that such edits will not be neutral.-The EnforcerOffice of the secret service 19:46, 10 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Potential conflict of interest[edit]

Re your [comments] about your ["clients]"

Hello, Webonautics. We welcome your contributions to Wikipedia, but if you are affiliated with some of the people, places or things you have written about on Wikipedia, you may have a conflict of interest or close connection to the subject.

All editors are required to comply with Wikipedia's neutral point of view content policy. People who are very close to a subject often have a distorted view of it, which may cause them to inadvertently edit in ways that make the article either too flattering or too disparaging. People with a close connection to a subject are not absolutely prohibited from editing about that subject, but they need to be especially careful about ensuring their edits are verified by reliable sources and writing with as little bias as possible.

If you are very close to a subject, here are some ways you can reduce the risk of problems:

  • Avoid or exercise great caution when editing or creating articles related to you, your organization, or its competitors, as well as projects and products they are involved with.
  • Be cautious about deletion discussions. Everyone is welcome to provide information about independent sources in deletion discussions, but avoid advocating for deletion of articles about your competitors.
  • Avoid linking to the Wikipedia article or website of your organization in other articles (see Wikipedia:Spam).
  • Exercise great caution so that you do not accidentally breach Wikipedia's content policies.

Please familiarize yourself with relevant content policies and guidelines, especially those pertaining to neutral point of view, verifiability of information, and autobiographies.

For information on how to contribute to Wikipedia when you have a conflict of interest, please see our frequently asked questions for organizations. Thank you. -- The Red Pen of Doom 14:08, 23 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Your recent edits[edit]

Hello. In case you didn't know, when you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, you should sign your posts by typing four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. You could also click on the signature button or located above the edit window. This will automatically insert a signature with your username or IP address and the time you posted the comment. This information is useful because other editors will be able to tell who said what, and when they said it. Thank you. --SineBot (talk) 15:04, 23 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Conflict of interest[edit]

Hello, Webonautics. We welcome your contributions to Wikipedia, but if you are affiliated with some of the people, places or things you have written about in the article Celina Jaitly, you may have a conflict of interest or close connection to the subject.

All editors are required to comply with Wikipedia's neutral point of view content policy. People who are very close to a subject often have a distorted view of it, which may cause them to inadvertently edit in ways that make the article either too flattering or too disparaging. Welcome to Wikipedia. Because we have a policy against usernames that give the impression that the account represents a group, organization or website, I have blocked this account; please take a moment to create a new account with a username that represents only yourself as an individual. You should also read our conflict of interest guideline and be aware that promotional editing is not acceptable regardless of the username you choose. If your username doesn't represent a group, organization or website, you may appeal this username block by adding the text {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}} below this notice. Thank you.

Decline reason:

Per deficiencies noted below. Use {{unblock-un}} to request a new username. We consider any and all editing of a related article by an account with the same username, no matter how much it otherwise might be desirable, to be in violation of policy. — Daniel Case (talk) 18:48, 26 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

"In addition to the issue of your username, you were blocked for promoting business interests on Wikipedia - adding either spam links, advertising material, or biased content supporting a business, product, or group - and that is a violation of our spam guidelines. As long as we have reason to believe that you will continue to behave in a promotional manner, the administrators of Wikipedia will be unable to unblock you, since this block is in place to prevent the disruption your promotional editing has caused." Can you inform exactly where did we promote the business, spam links etc. I agree with the username policy, but nowhere we tried to promote spam nor add in articles which are not accurate. We basically wanted the right information about specific persons in relation to NAME SPELLING AND DATE OF BIRTH.

What do you mean by "we"? A wikipedia account is for one person only.--Anthony Bradbury"talk" 16:26, 26 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]
