SunRun is saved[edit]

Hello! I have withdrawn the AfD discussion on SunRun, as notability is now confirmed to satsify WP:RS and WP:CORP. Thank you for your patience and input. Ecoleetage (talk) 22:54, 14 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Hi, if I can jump in here: I boldly reverted your addition of the "How it Works" section since it generally had the tone of an advertising brochure (appealing directly to the reader, etc.). Your enthusiasm for the article is welcome (indeed, it assisted in saving the article from deletion), but in future please remember that Wikipedia is an encyclopedia and not advertising - therefore all additions must adopt a neutral point of view and an appropriate tone. The style guideline Wikipedia:Writing better articles might assist you in your future contributions, and feel free to drop me a line or visit the help desk if you have any questions. Image source problem with Image:Tara image.jpg[edit]

Image Copyright problem
Image Copyright problem

Thanks for uploading Image:Tara image.jpg. I noticed that the file's description page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you did not create this file yourself, you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, then a link to the website from which it was taken, together with a restatement of that website's terms of use of its content, is usually sufficient information. However, if the copyright holder is different from the website's publisher, their copyright should also be acknowledged.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their source and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link. Unsourced and untagged images may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If the image is copyrighted under a non-free license (per Wikipedia:Fair use) then the image will be deleted 48 hours after 17:52, 18 August 2008 (UTC). If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. J Milburn (talk) 17:52, 18 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Image source and copyright licensing problem with Image:SunRun Founders.jpg[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:SunRun Founders.jpg.

As well as adding the source, we also need to know the terms of the license that the copyright holder has published the image under, usually done by adding a licensing tag. If you created/took the picture, audio, or video then the {{GFDL-self}} tag can be used to release it under the GFDL. If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Non-free content, use a tag such as {{non-free fair use in|article name}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:Image copyright tags#Fair use. See Wikipedia:Image copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their source and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link. Unsourced and untagged images may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If the image is copyrighted under a non-free license (per Wikipedia:Fair use) then the image will be deleted 48 hours after 18:10, 18 August 2008 (UTC). If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. (ESkog)(Talk) 18:10, 18 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

That looks like a professional studio photograph. In general, unless other legal arrangements have been made, its copyright would belong to the photographer who took it. Are you the owner of the copyright for that photo? -FisherQueen (talk · contribs) 23:17, 18 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Please stop removing the deletion notice from the image. If you wish to remove the notice, please deal with the issue it is addressing. J Milburn (talk) 23:20, 18 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Orphaned non-free media (Image:Sunrun logo.png)[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:Sunrun logo.png. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that all non-free media not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. BJBot (talk) 05:20, 20 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Image without license[edit]

Unspecified source/license for Image:SunRun Founders.jpg[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:SunRun Founders.jpg. The image has been identified as not specifying the copyright status of the image, which is required by Wikipedia's policy on images. Even if you created the image yourself, you still need to release it so Wikipedia can use it. If you don't indicate the copyright status of the image on the image's description page, using an appropriate copyright tag, it may be deleted some time in the next seven days. If you made this image yourself, you can use copyright tags like {{PD-self}} (to release all rights), {{self|CC-by-sa-3.0|GFDL}} (to require that you be credited), or any tag here - just go to the image, click edit, and add one of those. If you have uploaded other images, please verify that you have provided copyright information for them as well.

For more information on using images, see the following pages:

This is an automated notice by MifterBot. For assistance on the image use policy, see Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. NOTE: once you correct this, please remove the tag from the image's page. --MifterBot (TalkContribsOwner) 03:08, 22 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

File copyright problem with File:Tropos Router.jpg[edit]

Thank you for uploading File:Tropos Router.jpg. However, it currently is missing information on its copyright status. Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously. It may be deleted soon, unless we can determine the license and the source of the file. If you know this information, then you can add a copyright tag to the image description page.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their license and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have created in your upload log.

If you have any questions, please feel free to ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thanks again for your cooperation. Image Screening Bot (talk) 18:02, 22 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]
