Welcome to Wikipedia. The recent edit you made to Werner Traud has been reverted, as it appears to be unconstructive. Use the sandbox for testing; if you believe the edit was constructive, ensure that you provide an informative edit summary. You may also wish to read the introduction to editing. Thanks. Redfarmer (talk) 11:28, 7 June 2008 (UTC)

Sorry about that. I hit the wrong button on my client. I've undid my changes. Redfarmer (talk) 11:30, 7 June 2008 (UTC)

Please refrain from making unconstructive edits to Wikipedia. Your edits appeared to constitute vandalism and have been reverted. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. Thank you. •xytram•talkpics 08:38, 13 June 2008 (UTC)

Please stop. If you continue to introduce inappropriate pages to Wikipedia, you will be blocked from editing. Please reade Wikipedia:Your first article. You cannot create a page just to justify something you have put in another article. All articles must reach Stub class to be kept, including WP:notability and References. Triwbe (talk) 11:59, 13 June 2008 (UTC)

This is stupid. Take a look here: Ralf Linke. --Weissmann (talk) 13:28, 13 June 2008 (UTC)
Weissmann - you need to put comments in the discussion pages of each article. It's unlikely people will read responses here. •xytram•talkpics 13:54, 13 June 2008 (UTC)
Difference between Ralf Linke and Christoph Traud? I don't understand. Please help. Thank you. Best --Weissmann (talk) 14:26, 13 June 2008 (UTC)
  • Ralf Linke is a member of Erfolgsduo Hagen and they have at least produced 2 CDs. Now that does not make him immediately notable, nor is Erfolgsduo Hagen shown to be notable, but my experience of deletion is that (regardless of WP:BAND) if a band has a couple of published CDs and the article is not too promotional, the article will be kept. So what I have done is given you a chance to improve Erfolgsduo Hagen by adding at least one more reference from a reliable source before going for WP:AFD. I think, in this case, Ralf Linke should probably be merged as a section of Erfolgsduo Hagen. --Triwbe (talk) 15:42, 13 June 2008 (UTC)

Welcome!

We hope that you choose to become a Wikipedian and create an account. Feel free to ask me any questions you may have on my talk page. By the way, make sure to sign your posts and comments with four tildes (~~~~), which will let others know who left it. --Bhadani 05:57, 4 October 2006 (UTC)

Hi Badhani, thanks for your warm welcome. I like to be a Wikipedian in Germany and I hope I will be a good one for the english WP too. --Weissmann 10:04, 25 October 2006 (UTC)

Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to make constructive contributions to Wikipedia, at least one of your recent edits, such as the one you made to Joe Zawinul, did not appear to be constructive and has been reverted or removed. Please use the sandbox for any test edits you would like to make, and take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Speedy deletion of Ego Systems, Inc.

A tag has been placed on Ego Systems, Inc. requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a company or corporation, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is notable: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not indicate the subject's importance or significance may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, as well as our subject-specific notability guideline for companies and corporations.

Little context in Siemens ST55

Hello, this is a message from an automated bot. A tag has been placed on Siemens ST55, by another Wikipedia user, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. The tag claims that it should be speedily deleted because Siemens ST55 is very short providing little or no context to the reader. Please see Wikipedia:Stub for our minimum information standards for short articles.

To contest the tagging and request that administrators wait before possibly deleting Siemens ST55, please affix the template {{hangon}} to the page, and put a note on its talk page. If the article has already been deleted, see the advice and instructions at WP:WMD. Feel free to contact the bot operator if you have any questions about this or any problems with this bot, bearing in mind that this bot is only informing you of the nomination for speedy deletion; it does not perform any nominations or deletions itself. Opera etc

Music Drama is a specific genre of Opera, in particular it's usually applied to the operas of Richard Wagner. Category:Music dramas is really for specific musical works that are considered to be part of that genre, so the general article about opera shouldn't be part of that category. Dear David, let me thank you for your comment. Best --Weissmann (talk) 09:44, 2 May 2008 (UTC)

Restoration of absolute nonsense

Hi. Any thoughts on why you think the below nonsense has ANY place in the Folk music of Ireland article?:

  • "one of the first irish folkloric musicians in a little town that no ones heard of, but its there, believe me" (What rubbish.)
  • "Another unknown yet incredibly gifted folkloric musician, living in the early 1800's ... played a variety of instruments including the flute, banjo, the saxaphone and the electric guitar" (Electric guitar in the 1880s? Absolute nonsense!)
  • "have been put on display in the "Museam of the Great Irish Muscians" located in the northwestern part of Antarctica." (What complete and absolute BS.)
  • "Uilleann ... [is pronounced] ... u-lay-an-pa-sa-twa-le-moch-uste-fol-twe". (Absolute twaddle!)
  • ETC

You (re)inserted this nonsense vandalism with this edit. I can only assume that you included this stuff by accident. If not, an explanation would be appreciated. Guliolopez (talk) 01:52, 4 May 2008 (UTC)

Dear Guliolopez, you*re right. It was a little accident. Sorry for this. All the best --Weissmann (talk) 05:15, 4 May 2008 (UTC)

You are welcome to contribute content which complies with our content policies and any applicable inclusion guidelines. However, please do not simply re-create the page with the same content. Flagging Festspiele Balver Höhle for further review

Hello, Weissmann~enwiki … I recently encountered the article about Festspiele Balver Höhle and in my opinion, it either lacks sufficient Attribution that it satisfies the Notability criteria for Organizations and companies, or it may violate the Conflict of interest guideline, or perhaps it violates a copyright.

Fair use rationale for Image:Weissmann Hagen 3.jpg

Thanks for uploading or contributing to Image:Weissmann Hagen 3.jpg. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Unspecified source for Image:Weissmann_FBH_1998_2.jpg

Thanks for uploading Image:Weissmann_FBH_1998_2.jpg. I noticed that the file's description page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you did not create this file yourself, then you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, then a link to the website from which it was taken, together with a restatement of that website's terms of use of its content, is usually sufficient information. However, if the copyright holder is different from the website's publisher, then their copyright should also be acknowledged.

As well as adding the source, please add a proper copyright licensing tag if the file doesn't have one already. If you created/took the picture, audio, or video then the {{GFDL-self}} tag can be used to release it under the GFDL. If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Fair use, use a tag such as {{non-free fair use in|article name}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:Image copyright tags#Fair use. See Wikipedia:Image copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.
