Hello, my name is Hallie, and I am a junior English major at UC Berkeley. As a research project, I took it upon myself to add wikipedia pages about each publishing house in the area in order to promote locality and support local vendors. The project is all about local awareness and sustainment of the arts in the Berkeley area. I completely understand why my page was blocked, not only did I make the username whereaboutspress (in order to one day hand it over to the publishing company to edit information, which I no longer plan on doing given wikipedia policy, but I also used favouring and commercial information (mainly that I got off the website). If allowed my right to use wikipedia again, I will absolutely work to use secure and informative language, consciously avoiding any promotional uses. I would really like to continue this project, I have been planning it for a long time. Thank you so much for your time. I would also like my new username to be hallie1989.
