Hey there! My name's Olivia, (just completing the rest of the Wiki assignment due today), if you're looking for study buddies, hmu! Hope you enjoy your weekend and get a chance to enjoy the sun! :) Icedburg824 (talk) 00:58, 12 February 2022 (UTC)icedburg824[reply]

Hi White367, I enjoyed looking over your week 6 proposed edits. When looking over your draft your organization was very clear and concise it made it extremely easy to follow! You added valuable and natural content about the bowfin fish anatomy to the Wikipedia article. Looking at your source I noticed that it is from a blog, is there any way you can find a more reliable source with the same information? When looking through your organization and structure everything was easily accessible, I could tell where you are adding your sentence and to what Wikipedia article. You did a great job of clearly outlining your plans for picture contributions to the page and when you will be able to take them. The only major suggestion I have for you is to cross link back words to important Wikipedia pages. Other than that, everything looked great!Sunsetblvd13 (talk) 19:01, 3 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]

General Notes: Really liked the way you showed the difference between parts of the statement which were already there, and those which you added, though I would suggest elaborating a bit more on where exactly on the bowfin page you took the statements from.

Edit Proposal 1

• Just a repetition of what I said above, where exactly on the bowfin page did you pull the statement from? Is there a particular subsection that it's listed under?

• Any explanation as to why you intend on making this addition?

• Some of the sentence structure within the statement could also be fixed as it comes off a bit "chunked" (rather than flowing smoothly, if that makes sense). Personally, I do chose to include such edits to sentence structure or grammar as it helps facilitate ease of reading and overall comprehension (rather than having to re-read sections because they were worded a bit funny). Regardless of whether you choose to do so, I think your addition does a great job of elaborating on dental structure.

• Potentially add / embed links to bowfin jaw / dental structure?

Edit Proposal 2

• Totally LOVE that you're going to use photos from your dissection! Just be sure that all areas of interest are in focus and well-lit (as I've encountered this issue in the past).

• Are there any other photos or diagrams you could use to compare / contrast to those you take of your dissection? I'm sure not all specimens look the same, nor do dissections look particularly the same as labeled diagrams. Any other sources? Photos? Useful links?

Peer Review 3:

I agree that a picture of the sets of teeth would be a great edit. Others have already pointed out what I would have said about including the back link to the Hyomandibula wiki page, but besides that, it looks great!--Everyday I'm Buffering (talk) 19:47, 6 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]
