Speedy deletion of The Order of the Greek Horsemen[edit]

A tag has been placed on The Order of the Greek Horsemen requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a club, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, as well as our subject-specific notability guidelines for people and for organizations.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. The Order of the Greek Horsemen[edit]

The nationmaster.com link you keep adding to The Order of the Greek Horsemen is a copy of the original Wikipedia page. You can't link to a wiki like that and use it as a reference, it isn't a reliable source. It's the same thing as if you were to use another Wikipedia article as a reference. Who then was a gentleman? Please do not add copyrighted material to Wikipedia without permission from the copyright holder, as you did to The Order of the Greek Horsemen. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material; such additions will be deleted. You may use external websites as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing. Nomination of Order of the Greek Horsemen for deletion[edit]

A discussion is taking place as to whether the article Order of the Greek Horsemen is suitable for inclusion in Wikipedia according to Wikipedia's policies and guidelines or whether it should be deleted.
