I appreciate the information you left on Talk:Truck driver, however, anyone is free to edit articles on Wikipedia. If you would like to add the information yourself, please read some of the helpful links I have provided above. I don't doubt the information you provided was accurate, but facts and statements listed in articles need to have reliable sources (see Wikipedia:Citing sources). Thanks! --ErgoSum88 (talk) 04:37, 27 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks![edit]

I'm glad you liked my article, I've been working on it for weeks. Took me about two days straight just to get the basic format down, and I've been messing with it ever since. "The only thing not delivered by a truck is a baby"... lol, I like that. How long have you been trucking? I've only been doing it for two years but it doesn't take long to get caught up in it. I'm "between companies" right now so I've been using my time off to write articles for Wikipedia, since I noticed there weren't very many trucking articles, and the ones that did exist were poorly written.

Thanks for reminding me about the super singles fuel economy. There are so many little facts to add I swear I find a new one every day. I thought about starting an article about the worldwide trucking industry but I only know how things work here in America and I wouldn't know where to start looking for information in other countries. Besides, this writing crap can get addictive! --ErgoSum88 (talk) 06:41, 28 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Citing[edit]

Well actually you can cite books, magazines, and even other encyclopedias. The problem is, if someone needs to verify your information, nobody can do so without going down to the library... checking out the books you cited... and finding the appropriate information. Most people choose to use website simply because it's easier.

But I agree with you about the reviews for GAs. Anybody who is registered can come along and delist your nomination without even giving it a thorough evaluation or giving you time to fix it. Then you have to wait another month to get it listed again... ugh. Anyway, I think I'm giving up nominating articles. --ErgoSum88 (talk) 01:21, 7 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]
