Response from Wikipedia:Requests for Investigation[edit]

After reviewing your contributions made known to WP:RFI by a report submitted by Hoopaholic400, I would like to ask you to cease editing other editors' user pages. Doing so can be considered vandalism, which is a bannable offence. However, I have also realized you have taken some abuse from Hoopaholic400 and have warned him for the first and only time that if he edits content on your userpage again, administrator intervention will be necessary. If you have any questions, comments, or inquiries about the action taken as a result of this investigation, please contact me on my talk page, accessible by clicking the "Talk" link in my signature. Thanks, ZsinjTalk 00:50, 14 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

After today's actions, Hoopaholic has been banned for 24 hours for vandalism. --ZsinjTalk 18:13, 14 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you very much, I also thank you for reverts to my user page from 'Hejoli's vandalisim. Hejoli is obviously one of his aliases. It is sad to see a friend, however juvinile, to do these things. But I must, as usual dismiss these actions. Thank you Zsinj in you efforts against vandalism. -§çђîèßéŋҜяäñĸәň 18:17, 14 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I dont really know if made it look correct, im not exactly sure how to fix it either-§çђîèßéŋҜяäñĸәň 18:57, 14 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Unspecified source for Image:Zinedine Zidane-ar.jpg[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:Zinedine Zidane-ar.jpg. I notice the file's description page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you have not created this file yourself, then there needs to be an argument why we have the right to use it on Wikipedia (see copyright tagging below). If you did not create the file yourself, then you need to specify where it was found, i.e., in most cases link to the website where it was taken from, and the terms of use for content from that page.

If the file also doesn't have a copyright tag, then one should be added. If you created/took the picture, audio, or video then the {{GFDL-self}} tag can be used to release it under the GFDL. If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Fair use, use a tag such as {{Non-free fair use in|article name}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:Image copyright tags#Fair_use. See Wikipedia:Image copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their source and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link. Unsourced and untagged images may be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Abu Badali 00:08, 15 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Assalamalaikum bhai saheb. Thank you very much for the image replacement on the Hindustani article. I have another task I need assistance with. The Hindi-Urdu grammar and Hindustani grammar articles have coexisted for a while now but we have all realized that the Hindustani grammar article is a recent duplicate with the only differece being dual scripted and not as up to date. However, due to a recent discussion (see Talk:Hindustani grammar), the Hindustani grammar article is now officially being merged into the Hindi-Urdu grammar article because the Hindi-Urdu grammar article is more up to date and accurate. As of now, we are adding the Nastaliq script to the article. Devanagari has already been done. After the Nastaliq script has been added, Hindustani grammar will be deleted and Hindi-Urdu grammar will be the main grammar page for Urdu, Hindustani, and Hindi languages. I am requesting you to please help me add the Nastaliq script to the Hindi-Urdu grammar article as this is a gargantuan but rewarding task. I would really appreciate you help. Please let me know if you can help me do this. Bahut Bahut Shukria. Khuda Hafiz. Jdas07 04:07, 7 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

We need some help on the Roman Urdu article concerning Devanagari scripts for the Roman Urdu Alphabet Table. Fayyazabbas has already created a Roman Urdu alphabet table. However, it still needs the Devanagari Script and some possible revision. I informed him that you might do this. Could you please make these additions? Also the "Examples" section (table) needs to be put in the order of Roman Urdu, Nasta'liq, Devanagari, English Translation, and then the Notes. Could you please add the Devanagari to this and change the order to fit this article? Please let me know. Thank you very much again for your help! Khuda Hafiz. Jdas07 17:27, 7 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Yeah, Sure. Its funny you know, on my break, I found this request while Googling my name. Yeah sure I'll do do the Devanagari.-Ravi 02:59, 2 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Your image uploads[edit]

Hi, I have reason to believe that the licenses you mention for the image uploads are faulty. Please read WP:IUP. The Sania Mirza image you have uploaded is definitely copyrighted while you have mentioned it as GFDL. Deliberate misinformation and repeated uploads in violation of Wikipedia policies could lead to your getting blocked from editing wikipedia. Pl. review the licenses of this and other images you have uploaded. TIA, --Gurubrahma 16:15, 3 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Hi Whizkidrav, you have not edited for over a month, so I do not know if you will receive t Image:Sania.gif, Image:Nisha Kothari.jpg, Image:Soha.jpg and Image:Screenshot.svg all lack valid information about their copyright status. They will need to be deleted in seven days if this information can not be discovered. There is no evidence that the copyright holders of the first three images have agreed to release them under the GFDL, and the fourth image does not give any clues as to who created it and owns its copyright. If you have any questions at all, please feel free to ask me on my talk page or post a question to Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. Regards ×Meegs 06:31, 22 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Break?[edit]

I thought taking loooooooong year break §ǫŋα Κäйĩкá Çђøωδħаŕψ 01:24, 18 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I have added a few things to the page of the project above. I hope you don't mind. If you want to revert to the previous format, all you will have to do is hit the "history" tab and save the earlier version. There are quite a few things that need to be fleshed out, though, which I don't have the time to do right now. Oh, and by the way, I strongly urge you to consider using the WikiProject Council Guide to help you publicize the project, and very strongly urge you to adopt some sort of assessment process as described in the Wikipedia:WikiProject Council/Assessment FAQ. Assessment is one of the easiest ways to determine which articles which fall within the scope of a given project are most important and of highest quality, and which important articles are in greatest need of improvement. Good luck with the project. Badbilltucker 22:35, 28 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Please do not make statements attacking people or groups of people. Wikipedia has a strict policy against personal attacks. Attack pages and images are not tolerated by Wikipedia and are speedily deleted. Users who continue to create or repost such pages and images in violation of our biographies of living persons policy will be blocked from editing Wikipedia. Thank you.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Unreferenced BLPs[edit]

Hello Whizkidravi! Thank you for your contributions. I am a bot alerting you that 1 of the articles that you created is tagged as an Unreferenced Biography of a Living Person. The biographies of living persons policy requires that all personal or potentially controversial information be sourced. In addition, to ensure verifiability, all biographies should be based on reliable sources. If you were to bring this article up to standards, it would greatly help us with the current 938 article backlog. Once the article is adequately referenced, please remove the {{unreferencedBLP}} tag. Here is the article:
