July 2020[edit]

Information icon Hello, I'm Leijurv. I wanted to let you know that one or more external links you added to Turbo SIM have been removed because they seemed to be inappropriate for an encyclopedia. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page, or take a look at our guidelines about links. Thank you. Leijurv (talk) 02:01, 28 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]

The link was to added to give more information for another turbo sim called UGSim which is an amercian based version of turbo sim. Wiki2020genie (talk) 02:16, 28 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Based on your username and the name of the link you've added, it seems you're trying to promote your own website. Using external links to promote a website is against Wikipedia guidelines (WP:LINKSPAM and WP:COI). If this is your own site, you have a conflict of interest on the Turbo SIM article, and you should refrain from editing it. If you have suggestions, you can put them in the talk page (Talk:Turbo Sim) and other edits can incorporate them into the article if they come from a reliable source (WP:RS) and are relevant to the article. No this isnt my website. Just another turbo sim o found. The turbo sim article only mentions chinese unlock sims. I felt there should be this one listed as well. Wiki2020genie (talk) 03:46, 28 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]
If you have reliable sources that talk about them, please do add them back into the article, with a neutral point of view and without external links to promotional websites. POLITANVM talk 03:49, 28 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]
To correct my earlier message, the correct talk page is Talk:Turbo SIM (not "Talk:Turbo Sim") - apologies. Nonetheless, you should provide a reliable source that explains why that example is a notable Turbo SIM provider. POLITANVM talk 03:52, 28 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Ok so find an article on them? Also we cant link to the companys site since they are the creator of UGSim? Wiki2020genie (talk) 03:53, 28 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]
The article is about Turbo SIM, not UGSim, so you need a reliable source that UGSim is a notable provider of Turbo SIM. Otherwise, anyone could promote their website on any Wikipedia page. Their own website isn't a reliable source about their notability, since it's self-published (WP:RSSELF). POLITANVM talk 03:56, 28 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Ok, ill do some digging. Ty Wiki2020genie (talk) 04:00, 28 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]
