[edit]

Information icon Hello. Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. I noticed that one or more recent edit(s) you made did not have an edit summary. You can use the edit summary field to explain your reasoning for an edit, or to provide a description of what the edit changes. Summaries save time for other editors and reduce the chances that your edit will be misunderstood. For some edits, an adequate summary may be quite brief.

The edit summary field looks like this:

Edit summary (Briefly describe your changes)

Please provide an edit summary for every edit you make. With a Wikipedia account you can give yourself a reminder by setting Preferences → Editing → Tick Prompt me when entering a blank edit summary, and then click the "Save" button. Thanks! —DIYeditor (talk) 14:34, 10 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Costa Rica Pix

[edit]

I'll second the editor above. Thank you for helping make Wikipedia better. Your changes to the Costa Rica article improved the encyclopaedia, and your work is appreciated. I'd also repeat their encouragement to add an edit summary. It gives other editors involved in articles a better understanding of what you did, and (more importantly) why you made the change. Something as simple as "better image" or as descriptive as "replaced ugly pics of fake oxcart and half-eaten breakfast with great pics of real oxcart and typical breakfast plate." :D Cheers, Last1in (talk) 17:31, 15 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, I noticed that you may have recently made edits while logged out. Please be mindful not to perform controversial edits while logged out, or your account risks being blocked from editing. Please consider reading up on Wikipedia's policy on multiple accounts before editing further. Additionally, making edits while logged out reveals your IP address, which may allow others to determine your location and identity. If this was not your intention, please remember to log in when editing. Thank you. Izno (talk) 21:23, 22 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]
