Starting fresh[edit]

Thanks for all your comments, Tobogganoggin, IvoShandor, jtowns, and, of course, the countless millions who saw this page and chose not to comment because they knew I did it perfectly the first time. Or at least that's what I tell myself.

I finally took a minute to incorporate some of your ideas into a second draft (cleverly labeled "2nd draft"). Accordingly, I moved the first draft to an archive (cleverly placed in a subpage called "/d1") and blanked this page so you can tear apart the new version. Have fun, and really, THANK YOU for being part of this. ``` W i k i W i s t a h W a s s a p ``` 04:12, 8 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

looks fine to me. jtowns 21:12, 8 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]
I'd word it that newspaper companies owning more than 2 newspapers in different markets are notable. At least the more in different markets part.. If they bought up both newspapers of a city and continue to publish them then aren't themselves notable. DGG (talk) 23:47, 26 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Notability section[edit]

This section is not secure. There is a new essay being created at the moment, Wikipedia:Notability (media), which is attempting to create a consensual guideline to newspaper notability. Input is welcome. SilkTork *SilkyTalk 14:51, 21 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]
