Ways to improve Airborne Internet Consortium[edit]

Hello, Wikicre8r,

Thank you for creating Airborne Internet Consortium.

I have tagged the page as having some issues to fix, as a part of our page curation process and note that:

Looks good, well written and cited. However, more secondary references would help for verification and demonstrating notability

The tags can be removed by you or another editor once the issues they mention are addressed. If you have questions, leave a comment here and begin it with {{Re|IceBergYYC}}. Remember to sign your reply with ~~~~. For broader editing help, please visit the Teahouse.

Delivered via the Page Curation tool, on behalf of the reviewer.

December 2023[edit]

Information icon Hello, I'm MrOllie. I noticed that you added or changed content in an article, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so. You can have a look at referencing for beginners. If you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. MrOllie (talk) 01:45, 15 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks so much. I'll take a look at that. Wikicre8r (talk) 17:38, 16 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Please refrain from making unconstructive edits to Wikipedia, as you did with this edit to Earthquake prediction. Your edits appear to be vandalism and have been reverted or removed. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. Repeated vandalism can result in the loss of editing privileges. Thank you. Materialscientist (talk) 06:15, 17 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Hi Materialscientist,
I can assure you my edit was not unconstructive or vandalism. Most of these corrections update the scientific field test findings and correct the language to use scientific consistent terms from the citations to explain Theory and test results. There are four categories of changes: a) section header uses the correct scientific name for the field of research and theory, b) updates statements about scientific test findings with recent citations in place of statements made without citations or references twenty plus years old that are no longer relevant, therefore notable, c) removes two citations that were found to not support an original premise in the previous text.
Can you please clarify your reasoning of why you said "your edits appear to be vandalism"?
Also, I hardly had time to add Sources before the article was reverted. I worked on this section and was going to copy/paste from there.
Please let me know how to proceed so that I can ensure that these changes get published.
Thank you. Wikicre8r (talk) 06:32, 17 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Warning icon Please stop. If you continue to violate Wikipedia's no original research policy by adding your personal analysis or synthesis into articles, as you did at Earthquake prediction, you may be blocked from editing. MrOllie (talk) 01:03, 19 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]

You are attempting to blend together citations to make points they do not make individually, this is prohibited on Wikipedia per WP:SYN. You are also relying on an article from a predatory publisher (Crimson publishing) - that can't be used on Wikipedia. MrOllie (talk) 01:04, 19 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Mr. Ollie,
I’m reaching out to provide additional information as we stop the editing of this page section and move to a talk page. Please advise me if your prefer the discussion to occur on my or your talk page.
I’m a team member of a scientific & technology group that is reviewing multiple Wiki pages to provide updated citations and improve content by correcting errors. My role is to input the team’s updates and corrections in public forums, including Wikipedia articles. In the case of Earthquake prediction, I’m inviting my colleagues to join the Wiki dialogue.
As we move to the talk, I’ll ask if you will share the specifics of “personal analysis or synthesis” and the “attempt to blend together citations they do not make individually” so we can have tracked dialogue in one location. As background, the edits offered are from a group process that includes retired solid state physics and earthquake specialists, who can provide factual statements about the different citations.
The intent of the original edit is to improve the section by updating the content to correcting the title to the formal scientific name, directly state the scientific theory in the opening paragraph (taken directly from the referenced citation) and update the research & test results since the article section was drafted in the early 2010’s.
If the position is that the proposed edit is claimed to violate multiple Wiki policies, then our team will stop the update.
Thank you.

If you click on the blue text in the above messages, you will be directed to the relevant policies. The specifics you seek are located there. The position is indeed that your editing has been in violation of multiple Wiki policies. MrOllie (talk) 18:53, 10 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]
