Alan Keyes[edit]

Wikignat, stop changing things without discussing them. I have worked incredibly hard on this article and you're making sweeping changes unnecessarily. You are deleting sourced facts and ignoring my prompts on the discussion page. If you would like to discuss changes, please respond there! --Jdcaust 17:37, 3 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I looked over your addition of the Contributions to the Reagan Administration section and I can tell that you want to improve this as much as I do. However, please come discuss on the Talk:Alan Keyes page. Making changes without discussion and continuing to remove a sourced fact is not in the spirit of Wikipedia. Please remember WP:3RR so you don't get blocked. Let's work together, not against each other. --Jdcaust 17:46, 3 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Wikignat, characterizing edits as vandalism because you disagree them with could be construed as a violation of WP:CIVIL. Please remember to assume good faith. Dlabtot 18:14, 3 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Welcome[edit]

Welcome!

Hello, Wikignat, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions, especially what you did for Alan Keyes. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Here are some pages that you might find helpful:

I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Please sign your name on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically produce your name and the date. If you need help, check out Wikipedia:Questions, ask me on my talk page, or ask your question and then place {{helpme}} before the question on your talk page. Again, welcome!

Hopefully, we can work together on this and make it WP:Featured Article worthy. --Jdcaust 18:21, 3 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

One thing that would help your Reagan section is the templates at Wikipedia:Citing sources. When I started, I used the reference tags, but someone directed me there and I found some good stuff. The citeweb, citenews, and other templates are much cleaner and make the references at the bottom work well. Let me know if you need help! --Jdcaust 18:23, 3 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Disruptive Editting[edit]

You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war according to the reverts you have made on Alan Keyes. Note that the three-revert rule prohibits making more than three reversions in a content dispute within a 24 hour period. Additionally, users who perform a large number of reversions in content disputes may be blocked for edit warring, even if they do not technically violate the three-revert rule. If you continue, you may be blocked from editing. Please do not repeatedly revert edits, but use the talk page to work towards wording and content that gains a consensus among editors. --Jdcaust (talk) 20:13, 13 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I have reported you for violating the WP:3RR here. --Jdcaust (talk) 20:40, 13 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

December 2007[edit]

You have been blocked from editing for a period of 24 HOURS in accordance with Wikipedia's blocking policy for violating the three-revert rule . Please be more careful to discuss controversial changes or seek dispute resolution rather than engaging in an edit war. If you believe this block is unjustified, you may contest the block by adding the text {{unblock|your reason here}} below. nat.utoronto 20:45, 13 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]
