Proposed deletion of Super League Greece 2009–10 matchday 1

[edit]

The article Super League Greece 2009–10 matchday 1 has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Single matchdays are not notable enough in an encyclopaedic context per WP:NOT#ALMANAC. The results of a football season are sufficiently covered by the results boxes in the corresponding season articles, in this case Super League Greece 2009-10. The content of this article might be better suited for Wikinews, a sister project of Wikipedia.

While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{dated prod}} will stop the Proposed Deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. The Speedy Deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and Articles for Deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion.

[edit]

Photos

[edit]

Hello Wikipaok. I just designed the logo for fun, I hope you like it. The photos anyone uploads here must be a)either his own creation and licensed with a license like CC-BY-SA or b)copyrighted photos that can be used under the "fair use" thing. "Fair use" isn't for photos of living persons, because someone can take his camera and take a free photo of the person instead of using copyrighted photos. So, all images of players must either be taken from you, or you must have permission from the person that took the photo to upload them here and license them freely. So, you can't upload someone's photos that you just found on the internet. You can also see Βικιπαίδεια:Πολιτική χρήσης εικόνων.

Some greek users have solved this by taking their camera at a game, or at a team training (see commons:Category:Zavlani_APS for example), to take their own photos. Regards - Badseed (talk) 17:43, 21 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Alexandros Tziolis, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Date (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.
