Saint Thomas Church NYC[edit]

When did you visit, Saint Thomas is my home parish. If you get a chance to come again, please make yourself known. The French High Gothic line is one that's touted within the church's literature, and a few other sources, probably written people who know little about architectural details. While I like architecture, you sound like you know more about it than I do (I know more about the Federalist/Georgian/Greek Revival periods despite my deep love of Gothic)...so I'm passing a question on to User:Dogears who is an architect for his advice.

Seeing your user page saying you're at St. Johns in Annapolis, did you know a girl named Kelsey who was there for her freshman year last year but transferred out? —ExplorerCDT 02:12, 28 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I've visted St. Thomas a couple of times. Most recently just after getting out from school, though I could only show my friends the Church, since it was late. I still would like to go to a service sometime, but this last trip I settled for a lessons and carols at Holy Apostles, where I was an intern this summer, and on Friday night an evening prayer service at the cathedral. The 'late gothic' comment is more of a hunch based on a few details then anything I really -know-, which is why I just added to the talk page rather than editing the article. I don't remember that Kelsey last year as a freshman. If I recall there was a Kelsea my Freshman year, two years ago. I think. It's been a while. Wilhelm Ritter 05:33, 28 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

  • thin, 5'7"ish, short brown hair, smoked cigarettes? When you want to visit St. Thomas for a service, drop me an e-mail. They can also be heard online via the church's website. —ExplorerCDT 06:10, 28 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]
