Edit-warring on Chlorine dioxide

[edit]
Stop icon

Your recent editing history shows that you are currently engaged in an edit war; that means that you are repeatedly changing content back to how you think it should be, when you have seen that other editors disagree. To resolve the content dispute, please do not revert or change the edits of others when you are reverted. Instead of reverting, please use the talk page to work toward making a version that represents consensus among editors. The best practice at this stage is to discuss, not edit-war. See the bold, revert, discuss cycle for how this is done. If discussions reach an impasse, you can then post a request for help at a relevant noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, you may wish to request temporary page protection.

Being involved in an edit war can result in you being blocked from editing—especially if you violate the three-revert rule, which states that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. Undoing another editor's work—whether in whole or in part, whether involving the same or different material each time—counts as a revert. Also keep in mind that while violating the three-revert rule often leads to a block, you can still be blocked for edit warring—even if you don't violate the three-revert rule—should your behavior indicate that you intend to continue reverting repeatedly.. Please persist in your work for accuracy!

Please don't get discouraged too quickly as you work on revisions re. MMS info! There have been a number of incorrect claims regarding citations on the article, & resistance to revision has been strong because there have been strong safety concern statements from the FDA, etc. and no one wants people hurt. However, the information included on the page should be correct, not just intended to deceptively spook people for their own good. I personally am not pro-MMS, but I am pro-accuracy.

I have explanations of some of my contributions on the article's Talk page, right above yours. Here are some earlier valid edits I worked at that encountered some resistance:

https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Chlorine_dioxide&type=revision&diff=946693695&oldid=945074481&diffmode=source

https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Chlorine_dioxide&type=revision&diff=946727618&oldid=946694034&diffmode=source

https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Chlorine_dioxide&type=revision&diff=947831360&oldid=946962860&diffmode=source

I know of a number of substantiated, relevant sources that actually do provide more concrete info & will send some to you soon. I just wanted to send you a note to encourage you in your pursuit of greater accuracy for this page. I will also chip in discussion on the Talk page as needed to help the page be revised where needed. If you'd like, you can send potential revisions for me to look at, too, before posting on the page.

Thank you for working toward ensuring quality, reliable content! We have a responsibility to work with integrity in providing info here on Wikipedia, because our work affects so many around the world! Thank you for your work in this team effort to evaluate how to best inform on important topics!!!
