I sympathize that one can jump from page to page of instructions, with too much language about cautions, and not enough simple examples of what to do.

If the picture is one you took yourself, the steps are easy (but not trivial)

  1. Go to Commons
  2. Click on "upload File" (left panel)
  3. Follow the steps (when you get to the complicated licensing question, pick the one with (recommended) after it

If it isn't your picture, tell me more about it and I'll give you specific advice.
