Changes to Ladies European Tour

[edit]

Hi Wmigda, I noticed that you left an edit note saying you contacted the ISP in Australia of the person who has been continually making nonsense edits to Ladies European Tour. I thought a little background on this might be helpful. My apologies if you already have all the information. This user has been making these changes to this article for about two years, sometimes multiple times in a single day. Starting in the last week he/she has begun making similar type changes to LPGA and to individual players articles, for example to Karrie Webb. I tried to have protection from editing by anonymous editors (IP only editors) placed on Ladies European Tour earlier this year but my request was rejected. The Wikipedia administrator told me to request again if it got worse. This may be the time. Another complicating factor is that this user has a changing IP number. It's the same Australian ISP, but the IP number keeps changing so it may be hard to track down. However, thank you for your good effort. --Crunch (talk) 23:15, 4 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Unfortunately, I have no idea which specific admins might be the ones who would be helpful. The range of helpfulness by admins on Wikipedia varies greatly. --Crunch (talk) 17:43, 5 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Station photograph

Thanks for adding a photograph to Sunningdale railway station‎. I've removed it from my list. Edward (talk) 21:08, 19 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

JIyai Shin wins

[edit]

Hi Wmigda, I reverted your edit to LPGA Tour that changed the number of wins for Jiyai Shin. Note that the table indicates the number of official money list wins on the LPGA Tour, not the total number of LPGA Tour wins. In Shin's case, the former number is only 1 because she was not a member when she won the first three events so they were not official money list wins. I'll add a footnote to indicate the change and also change 2008 LPGA Tour to match. --Crunch (talk) 19:28, 8 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]

LPGA photos

[edit]

On the page you linked to, I found a problem with File:2008 LPGA Championship - Minea Blomqvist 1.jpg. The photo is missing, though all the licensing information is included. Please correct that if you get a chance. Other than that, I commend you for finding these photos, which will be a great asset for our LPGA player bios. I'll start placing them as soon as I get a chance. Thanks! Giants2008 (17-14) 19:18, 17 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]

[edit]

Hi, Thanks for finding my error on 2009 LPGA Tour. --Crunch (talk)

Hello Wmigda, I was one of many a helper in getting this article on the in the news section on the main page. By the way, I love, appreciate, and thank you for letting Wikipedia use your photos like the one on the main page. Good Job.SaysWhoWhatWhenWhereWhyHow? (talk) 22:34, 1 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Congratulations on having Yani Tseng featured on the English Wikipedia Main Page. I believe it would not have happened without the addition of your photo. --Crunch (talk) 00:27, 2 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Exactly, I second the sentiment by Crunch.SaysWhoWhatWhenWhereWhyHow? (talk) 02:38, 2 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Thank you guys, I'll be trying to upload some more once I'm done with the news article for wikinews. Wmigda (talk) 09:02, 2 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]
