Hallo, Thank you for creating this article. If you add an alternative name, bolded, in the lead section, you should also add a redirect so that readers looking for that name, or other editors using it as a link, can find their way to this article. I have made redirects at Armoisine, Armozine and Ermozine, but another time please do so yourself. Thanks. PamD 07:31, 22 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Please check that every link you add leads where you intend: in Almerían silk you linked to Makkari, which is a dismabiguation page. I have corrected it to link to Ahmed Mohammed al-Maqqari which I think is what you intended. PamD 07:36, 22 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for fixing that, I'll be more careful in the future. WolfeDivane (talk) 16:46, 27 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited History of the Jews in the Ottoman Empire, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Plague. Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

Chinoiserie fashion

[edit]

Hi @WolfeDivane,

I just saw your recent edits on page Fashion I was wondering if the content on Chinoiserie was entirely deleted from Wikipedia or if you intended to move the deleted content to page Chinoiserie or create a new page.

Best, Gyuligula2 Gyuligula2 (talk) 11:39, 4 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]

@Gyuligula2 I thought you would want to work it in to the existing article for Chinoiserie or create a new article Chinoiserie in fashion. The content you added is long enough for a new article and it would be a good contribution. WolfeDivane (talk) 12:50, 4 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]
I agree it was too much for Fashion, and indeed rather misleading, as Chinese influences were not dominant in Early Modern European fashion, as the text rather suggested. I would suggest Chinoiserie in fashion or Chinese influences on Western fashion. Another one that is best split is Frog (fastening), giving Pankou its own article.
