Welcome!

Hello, Wolfy87oc, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Unfortunately, one or more of the pages you created, such as Oliver Caldwell, may not conform to some of Wikipedia's guidelines, and may soon be deleted.

There's a page about creating articles you may want to read called Your first article. If you are stuck, and looking for help, please come to the New contributors' help page, where experienced Wikipedians can answer any queries you have! Or, you can just type {{helpme}} on this page, and someone will show up shortly to answer your questions. Here are a few other good links for newcomers:

I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Please sign your name on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically produce your name and the date. If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Oliver Caldwell requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a person or group of people, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hang on}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion, or "db", tag; if no such tag exists, then the page is no longer a speedy delete candidate and adding a hang-on tag is unnecessary), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, you can contact one of these administrators to request that the administrator userfy the page or email a copy to you. 5 albert square (talk) 11:52, 6 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Is this page ready?[edit]

I was just wondering what else I would need to add to this page for it to be accepted.

The most important thing you need is independent references, in order to establish WP:Notability, which requires "significant coverage in reliable sources that are independent of the subject." As this is so new, you may well not be able to do that, which will mean that it is too soon for an article. I will leave the "helpme" for other comments, and you can also try posting at WP:Requests for feedback. JohnCD (talk) 16:42, 13 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]
I see, I only know one other person that is currently using it. I suppose it would be a start. Thanks for your help. --Wolfy87oc (talk) 16:54, 13 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]
If that is the case, then it is very unlikely to fulfill the notability requirements. Articles need to show 'significant coverage' - please read WP:VRS.  Chzz  ►  17:11, 13 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Okay then, so until it is in any way popular, can I leave it as it is as a personal page? --Wolfy87oc (talk) 17:16, 13 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Yes, for a time, but not indefinitely - see WP:FAKEARTICLE. If after a few months there is no sign of it being ready for the mainspace, it may well be proposed for deletion. I have added a "userspace draft" tag and commented out the categories, both of which are necessary while it is in user space. JohnCD (talk) 18:23, 13 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, Wolfy87oc. It has been over six months since you last edited the Articles for Creation submission or Draft page you started, "Spark".

In accordance with our policy that Wikipedia is not for the indefinite hosting of material deemed unsuitable for the encyclopedia mainspace, the draft has been nominated for deletion. If you plan on working on it further, or editing it to address the issues raised if it was declined, simply edit the submission and remove the {{db-afc}}, {{db-draft}}, or {{db-g13}} code.

If your submission has already been deleted by the time you get there, and you wish to retrieve it, you can request its undeletion by following the instructions at this link. An administrator will, in most cases, restore the submission so you can continue to work on it.

Thank you for your submission to Wikipedia! JMHamo (talk) 13:06, 31 October 2019 (UTC)[reply]
