Welcome[edit]

Welcome!

Hello, Wrightbro, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions, especially what you did for The Springfield Connection. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Here are some pages that you might find helpful:

I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Please sign your messages on discussion pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically insert your username and the date. If you need help, check out Wikipedia:Questions, ask me on my talk page, or ask your question on this page and then place {{helpme}} before the question. Again, welcome! -- Cirt (talk) 14:15, 4 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]

November 2010[edit]

Please stop your disruptive editing. If you continue to vandalize Wikipedia, as you did at Marge Be Not Proud, you may be blocked from editing. Theleftorium (talk) 14:23, 4 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]

December 2010[edit]

This is your last warning; the next time you vandalize Wikipedia, as you did at 2012, you may be blocked from editing without further notice. Dougweller (talk) 11:16, 6 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]

January 2011[edit]

Please stop making additions such as [1]. Wikipedia is not a crystal ball that makes predictions of the future appearance of content. Active Banana (bananaphone 18:24, 6 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]

The same goes for your edits about the price of the Nintendo 3DS. No price has been announced yet, so please don't add any guesses or speculation. Thanks. Sergecross73 msg me 20:15, 14 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]

...And the same goes for your edits towards Sonic 4. There's no reason to make a section that's only content is a statement saying "nothing is known", and then giving a fake release date. Please stop. Sergecross73 msg me 20:12, 31 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Lego star wars the un-animated series requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about web content, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hang on}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion, or "db", tag; if no such tag exists, then the page is no longer a speedy delete candidate and adding a hang-on tag is unnecessary), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, you can contact one of these administrators to request that the administrator userfy the page or email a copy to you. — RHaworth (talk · contribs) 20:27, 20 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Final warning[edit]

You seem to have a strange obsession with the character Marge, and your additions to the Simpsons episodes break the Wikipedia:Neutral point of view guideline so I have reverted them. I have warned you in the past and this is your final warning. If you continue, you will be blocked from editing. Theleftorium (talk) 13:44, 12 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]

March 2012[edit]

You have been blocked indefinitely from editing for continuing to insert your opinions about certain Simpsons characters into articles despite several warnings (see Wikipedia:Neutral point of view). If you would like to be unblocked, you may appeal this block by adding the text {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}, but you should read the guide to appealing blocks first. Theleftorium (talk) 14:02, 25 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]
This user's unblock request has been reviewed by an administrator, who declined the request. Other administrators may also review this block, but should not override the decision without good reason (see the blocking policy).

Request reason:

I know why I was blocked, and I won't do it again. Wrightbro (talk) 20:08, 25 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Decline reason:

Per the comment below, I am declining your unblock request because it does not address the reason for your block, or because it is inadequate for other reasons. To be unblocked, you must convince the reviewing administrator(s) that

  • the block is not necessary to prevent damage or disruption to Wikipedia, or
  • the block is no longer necessary because you
    1. understand what you have been blocked for,
    2. will not continue to cause damage or disruption, and
    3. will make useful contributions instead.

Please read the guide to appealing blocks for more information. Beeblebrox (talk) 04:33, 26 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

  • Why were you blocked and how will you alter your editing so that it aligns with this project's policies and guidelines? Tiderolls 21:29, 25 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]
  • I got blocked because I kept insulting Marge Simpson and putting in episodes in the Simpsons that it was actually her fault. I understand now that it was childish. That is the only reason I know that I've been blocked. 18:43, 26 March 2012 (UTC)

Request reason:

I was blocked because I kept insulting Marge Simpson. I understand that it was childish to insult a cartoon character and I will stop adding my personal opinions to a site that doesn't belong to me. Wrightbro (talk) 17:47, 26 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Accept reason:

It seems you have understood why you were blocked, and I have unblocked you on the condition that you don't continue to violate our neutrality-policy. Theleftorium (talk) 20:57, 26 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]

July 2012[edit]

This is the only warning you will receive. Your recent vandalism, as you did to The Simpsons, will not be tolerated. Although vandalizing articles on occasions that are days or weeks apart from each other sometimes prevents editors from being blocked, your continued vandalism constitutes a long term pattern of abuse. The next time you vandalize a page, you may be blocked from editing Wikipedia without further notice. Theleftorium (talk) 09:33, 6 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]

I did NOT make that edit to The Simpsons. I definitely do not remember writing that, and even if I did, I don't kmow why because I love the show. If I did, I am truly sorry, but I do not recollect doing it. 19:10, 1 August 2012 (UTC)

August 2013[edit]

Hello, I'm BracketBot. I have automatically detected that your edit to 2015 in film may have broken the syntax by modifying 2 "{}"s. If you have, don't worry, just edit the page again to fix it. If I misunderstood what happened, or if you have any questions, you can leave a message on my operator's talk page.

Thanks, BracketBot (talk) 19:45, 2 August 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
