If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Nilesh Maurya requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a real person or group of people that does not credibly indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please read more about what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. Please stop removing maintenance templates from pages on Wikipedia, as you did to Nilesh Maurya, without resolving the problem that the template refers to. This may be considered disruptive editing. Further edits of this type may result in your account being blocked from editing. Which part of "do not remove this notice from pages that you have created yourself" did you not understand? A tag has been placed on Draft:Nilesh Maurya, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, group, product, service, person, or point of view and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become encyclopedic. Please read the guidelines on spam and Wikipedia:FAQ/Organizations for more information.

Nilesh Maurya

[edit]

Regarding the articles Nilesh Maurya and Draft:Nilesh Maurya that you've created, in addition to the funadmental issue of notability raised by others, I wanted to point out that even with the best of sources, the articles would need to be fundamentally re-written in order to qualify as encyclopedia articles. Some of those problems include:

  • English grammar – This is the biggest problem. The article is clearly written by someone with limited English skills. Some of it is so broken that I can't understand exactly what it means. Words are mis-spelled. Most of the words that are capitalized should not be. Generally, only names of people and places (proper nouns) and the first letter of a sentence are to be capitalized (see MOS:CAPS).
Not having great English skills is not a "bad thing" – it's true of most of the world – it's just a problem if you want to write an article for English Wikipedia that is expected to be educational and encyclopedic and read by millions of people. I speak some Spanish, having taken classes in it in high school for 3 years. I would not presume, though, to create an article on Spanish Wikipedia – I just don't have the skills to do it, just like I can't fly a plane, or build a building.
  • Trivia – Remember that this is an encyclopedia, like Encyclopædia Britannica. Read some articles about similar people there, or even some other articles here. See the kinds of people and things that are deemed noteworthy. Not everyone who writes a few magazine articles or a blog get an article. Within those articles, facts mentioned need to be important and relevant, not just now, but for many years to come. The fact that someone tried and failed to pass "class 10th" twice and finally made it on the third try is just not suitable material.

While this may seem harsh (nobody likes to be told they are wrong), I don't want you to waste your time, either. Also to be considered is the time of other volunteer editors to review and process your submissions, especially when they've been spread across multiple articles, talk pages, and apparently co-ordinating users. Thanks for understanding and I wish you well. —[AlanM1(talk)]— 21:50, 9 November 2019 (UTC)[reply]
