Remove article about present Caliph of Islam which Named as mirza masroor ahmad this is misleading or inaccurate

Information about article yiu provides is wrong nd inaccurate

There is no current Caliph of Muslims. And, consistent with beloved Prophet Muhammad (صلى الله عليه وسلم) hadeeth, Islamic Caliphate are going to be 30 years after His reign. And, if we glance over the history.

This caliphate of Islam contains following leaders,

Caliphate in Islam

The First Caliph of Muslims is Hazrat Abubakar Saddiq (R.A The second Caliph of Muslims is Hazrat Umar Farooq (R.A) The third Caliph of Muslims is Hazrat Usman Ghani (R.A) The fourth Caliph of Muslims is Hazrat Imam Ali (R.A) The fifth Caliph of Muslims is Hazrat Imam Hassan (R.A) Markhor2.0 (talk) 05:11, 28 October 2021 (UTC)

Markhor2.0: The only edit I can see that I made to this article was in 2012 concerning the deletion of an image and not to the prose (see this difference and this deletion nomination), so I have no idea what you are accusing me of. This not a topic I have any interest in editing. You would be far better off posting to the talk page of the article. ww2censor (talk) 21:26, 30 October 2021 (UTC)

Suggestions: Template Multiple issues

Dear Ww2censor, I am writing you with regard to the article by Demian Conrad, which has recently been revised several times and finally published :)! I wanted to ask you whether, in your opinion, the template message {{Multiple issues}} can now be removed in consideration of the numerous improvements. Thanks again for your help! EnḫeduannaS (talk) 07:52, 6 November 2021 (UTC)

EnḫeduannaS: It looks like you have removed and/or replaced all the primary source citations with third=party ones so I have removed the notice. I prefer to use the appropriate citation template, instead of the free form version you use, choosing from those shown here WP:CIT. They also allows you to indicate a language when not the same as the language of the wiki. One of the citations is used multiple times from "The Collector's Magazine" but I don't know if all the citations are from one page of that documents or several pages: This template {{rp}} can be used at each entry to indicate page numbers for the specific reference. It's very useful for multiple citations from the same book. Hope that helps. ww2censor (talk) 14:04, 7 November 2021 (UTC)
Ww2censor: Thank you for your suggestions. I fixed the citations using the template you recommended. As for "The Collector's Magazine" I have inserted the pages. Thanks again, your recommendations will be helpful not only for this article but also for future ones! Best, EnḫeduannaS (talk) 18:17, 8 November 2021 (UTC)

Quick question

Hey! Another user @Dwmalone: has recreated a draft of Hamilton Mathematics Institute here, and as you weighed in on the deletion of the old article, I thought you might cast an eye over it? Certainly seems like it is notable now? Thanks, and hope all is well with you :) Smirkybec (talk) 21:16, 17 November 2021 (UTC)

Smirkybec: Most sources seem to be about events and their promotion but little about the institute itself, what it does and what is has achieved. In 18 years I would expect more. There is nothing much independent published third-party and reliable there to me. When it comes up for review, I would probably decline it. Did you ask any of the other deletion participants? ww2censor (talk) 22:20, 17 November 2021 (UTC)

USPS

I feel you are harassing me. I am inexperienced in editing here and so I am leaving this in good faith. The email service is a proposal which was discussed before and was cited. Right below my edit, there is a Privatization Proposals section which you did not remove though it is a proposal as well. If you are just into harassing people and badgering them on their talk pages, it is unfortunately wrong. Maybe you will see that the word proposal is there right in the USPS page, with privatization proposal which did not happen with your crystal ball assertion. Please remove that as well instead of following me around and reverting my edits. Thank you! Please see: United States Postal Service#Privatization proposals — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2603:8080:C801:5731:DD65:24ED:722C:CE09 (talk) 18:38, 7 December 2021 (UTC)

Pchaparala: I presume this post was made by you when not logged in and you did not sign your post. I am not following you around harassing and bagdgering you on your talk page. I am giving you a friendly warning based on a specific wikipedia rule and policy that you may not be aware of, so you should not take any offense. I always assume good faith. I know that I was not the only editor to revert your edit to the United States Postal Service article. As an inexperienced editor it may be worth your while to understand not everything you write will be kept and may be removed by editors who perhaps know the policy a bit better than you, and also what should be in an article or even not there. Your mention of the privatization proposal was a substantial change to the whole structure of the USPS and in my opinion it has far more validity and importance than a minor additional service that may never happen. If it actually happens, you are of course welcome to readd the email service info to the article at that time. ww2censor (talk) 22:15, 7 December 2021 (UTC)

Hello. Help evaluate the quality of the article. Thanks you. Edmyoa (talk) 09:51, 17 December 2021 (UTC)

Edmyoa: Sorry, I don't have time other than to say the WikiProject assessments look about right but it looks very listy, so I doubt it can be a B-class article. It is not a topic I know anything about. ww2censor (talk) 09:56, 17 December 2021 (UTC)

I Copied the SCHEDULE Titles from the official Legislation.gov.uk website there is nothing in-your-face shouty about them if you have a problem with them take it up with the National Archives/The Stationery Office as they wrote them, I changed them as your suggested have a good day. Demonguy1990 (talk) 17:30, 14 January 2022 (UTC)

Demonguy1990: I appreciate you changing to title case in this article. Just because another site uses an ALL CAPS format does not mean we should follow it. Thanks for changing them, it looks so much better now. ww2censor (talk) 19:21, 14 January 2022 (UTC)
That is ok. Demonguy1990 (talk) 00:09, 15 January 2022 (UTC)

Happy Birthday!

Wishing Ww2censor a very happy birthday on behalf of the Birthday Committee!   CAPTAIN RAJU(T) 18:51, 17 January 2022 (UTC)

Enjoy the break!

A whole month off - nice. They'll miss you in the queue, I suppose. I'll try to chug through some more of the Stub assessments, but I'm also trying to keep up some Pending Changes, get some time in on article improvement and even a little creation, and will do one more Member page edit to close that chapter. Enjoy the break! SeoR (talk) 00:14, 24 January 2022 (UTC)

SeoR: I think they can do without me for a while as there are so few outstanding tickets these days. Well even the south of France gets cold in the winter, so being retired we take a long trip away each year. We even got away to Zanzibar and back in 2020 before the strict lockdown here. I must upload some more photos from trips we have done. I have got fingers in pies but as yet have not completed those articles, or even started some. One of these days I'd like to create Glass making in Ireland, or some similar title, but sources are hard to gather together. Thanks ww2censor (talk) 14:24, 24 January 2022 (UTC)

VRTS script

Hey! Try adding in your common.js the following line:

importScript('User:Ruthven/helpVRTS.js');

Tell me then if it works. Cheers --Ruthven (msg) 20:51, 23 March 2022 (UTC)

Ruthven; so far my testing works so long as you have the ticket number ready to enter. For this initial received entry it worked fine [1]. However, I wanted to modify the received template to a permission template for this file File:Eva y ale superstars.jpeg. When I click on the button I get the entry window which did not have the existing ticket number pulled in from the received template, I cancelled the action. The script did not cancel but seemed to run and entered an unnumbered permission template with red warning where the number should be. On the commons, an existing ticket number is normally transferred into the new permission template. Maybe that can't be fixed and one has to have the ticket number copied or written down to enter manually. I have not tried the queued button yet as I do not see many enwiki files to verify.
I was not going to bother you about this yet so I am surprised you recreated this so quickly. Once it's fully functional it just needs to advertised to VTR members. ww2censor (talk) 10:51, 24 March 2022 (UTC)
I'll try to fix the javascript. Meanwhile, it would be better to move the remaining templates mentioning "OTRS" on en.wiki as well, as this project hasn't fixed this yet. Bye! Ruthven (msg) 15:22, 25 March 2022 (UTC)
Ruthven; I agree but I assume that means making some new templates and then refining the script to point to them. I think that's way beyond my skills. BTW, it looks like the queued and received buttons do exactly the same thing but maybe I just didn't notice the difference. ww2censor (talk) 22:39, 25 March 2022 (UTC)

Replaceable fair use File:Czeslaw Slania.png

Thanks for uploading File:Czeslaw Slania.png. I noticed that this file is being used under a claim of fair use. However, I think that the way it is being used fails the first non-free content criterion. This criterion states that files used under claims of fair use may have no free equivalent; in other words, if the file could be adequately covered by a freely-licensed file or by text alone, then it may not be used on Wikipedia. If you believe this file is not replaceable, please:

  1. Go to the file description page and add the text {{Di-replaceable fair use disputed|<your reason>}} below the original replaceable fair use template, replacing <your reason> with a short explanation of why the file is not replaceable.
  2. On the file discussion page, write a full explanation of why you believe the file is not replaceable.

Alternatively, you can also choose to replace this non-free media item by finding freely licensed media of the same subject, requesting that the copyright holder release this (or similar) media under a free license, or by creating new media yourself (for example, by taking your own photograph of the subject).

If you have uploaded other non-free media, consider checking that you have specified how these media fully satisfy our non-free content criteria. You can find a list of description pages you have edited by clicking on this link. Note that even if you follow steps 1 and 2 above, non-free media which could be replaced by freely licensed alternatives will be deleted 2 days after this notification, per the non-free content policy. If you have any questions, please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

This bot DID NOT nominate any of your contributions for deletion; please refer to the history of each individual page for details. Thanks, FastilyBot (talk) 10:00, 26 March 2022 (UTC)

Oops!

Sorry Ww, I seem to have re-rated a few articles you had just rated. They popped up on my list of "unassessed" for "importance". Not sure why. Sarah777 (talk) 15:33, 24 July 2022 (UTC)

Eh...big red box seems to be obscuring my comment. Sarah777 (talk) 15:35, 24 July 2022 (UTC)

Sarah777: What unassessed list are you using? The one I use does not immediately update when reassessed, it's updated daily, so that could be your issue. It's always best to check what is actually missing before rerating. I have moved the red warning box around and this seems the optimum place because it depends on how your browser renders it. You may want to check out a different browser. ww2censor (talk) 15:42, 24 July 2022 (UTC)
Yes, in Chrome the box sits over the last comment posted. The list I use is the list from the IrlProj Table - yes, it only seems to update once a day, at about 1am in Irish Time. I think that's what happened here. Wasn't a problem until you started rating "J" articles - that's my patch! I will pay more attention in future. Sarah777 (talk) 21:26, 24 July 2022 (UTC)
Sarah777: Ah well I'm sorry but if you want to be well tracked by the "evil" Google that's the way it is. I try to steer well away from them by using as much non or low tracking software as I can find, such as Brave browser, DuckDuckGo search and Deepl.net translation (it has fewer languages than Google translate). For the unassessed articles, I first go to User:WP 1.0 bot/Tables/Project/Philately which may well be the same as you are doing. Then I select the total under the ??? column that gives me this result page of 100 at a time though only alphabetical by the initial letter. I also use Wikipedia:Version 1.0 Editorial Team/Ireland articles by quality log and just check articles with red talk page links in the assessed section, so not done in any alphabetical order at all as these are mainly new articles. Cheers ww2censor (talk) 21:54, 24 July 2022 (UTC)
Yep. I also go to the ??? column. As for the Evil One, I've nothing to track that would be of any interest to them and I hate ads of any sort! Sarah777 (talk) 22:08, 24 July 2022 (UTC)

Galleries

Hi Ww. See Knock, County Mayo (just the latest example) - the addition of a "photo gallery". I've come across this in several articles recently not least one at Castleisland which was subsequently deleted by another editor, Guliolopez, on copyright grounds. The photos were pretty terrible and repetitious and earlier I'd thought about deleting the gallery on aesthetic grounds. Do we have a policy on these abominations? (You'll never guess what I feel about them!) Sarah777 (talk) 13:36, 31 July 2022 (UTC)

By the way, I have no problem with nice tight photo-mosaics in infoboxes, such as the one in Thurles - obviously, it also helps that in this case, the photos are good quality. Sarah777 (talk) 13:47, 31 July 2022 (UTC)

This seems to be about the same club as the article Kilmeena GAA. I believe you know how to do speedy deletions! Sarah777 (talk) 12:58, 1 August 2022 (UTC)

Per standard naming convention, this should be Loughgiel Shamrocks GAA. I tried to move the page but couldn't, because it has already been "mis-moved" from Loughgiel Shamrocks GAA to Loughgiel Shamrocks GAC. I seem unable to reverse that move because now Loughgiel Shamrocks GAA is a redirect. Do you possess the power and technical wizardry to move the page to Loughgiel Shamrocks GAA - where it should be? Sarah777 (talk) 18:35, 9 August 2022 (UTC)

Sarah777: Unfortunately no, you need an admin to do that. You could ask User:Fastily, maybe he can help you. ww2censor (talk) 20:52, 9 August 2022 (UTC)

Western Cattle in Storm

[2]

By what definition did you restore the usual sections? "references and sources" appears in just 2,312 articles, while "further reading" (a less common type of section in the first place) appears in 248,551 articles. Even accounting for in-text uses (as opposed to section headers), this is an immensely more common usage. You even restored an external links section that contains no external links, just a Commons category box, a navigation template, and category links. 175.39.61.121 (talk) 18:29, 13 November 2022 (UTC)

175.39.61.121: I just did a straight revert as you edit did not appear constructive to me, but you may prefer a further reading section as the titles do not appear to be specifically on topic, so may not be considered sources. However "references and sources" versus "further reading" is essentially an editor's preference for what they consider to be a source or material provided to expand on the topic in question. Actually with this edit I added an appropriate external link so that the "Commons category" was not sitting on its own in the section where we normally place them.

Category:Wikipedia files with unconfirmed permission received by VRT as of unknown date

Please can you fix the templates so they do not populate Category:Wikipedia files with unconfirmed permission received by VRT as of unknown date. It is a redirect and these are a nightmare to empty when the template is convoluted. Timrollpickering (talk) 22:50, 23 November 2022 (UTC)

Timrollpickering: I have no idea how to do that, so unfortunately no, I can't fix the templates. I asked c:User:Ruthven to see if he could fix the problem with the insertion of VRT tickets into enwiki file pages. Perhaps he can assist. See: c:User talk:Ruthven#Adding VRT tickets to enwiki. ww2censor (talk) 23:00, 23 November 2022 (UTC)

Hermann Hörlin as opposed to several other folks on this list?????? Why is he not listed? The editors here seem unfamiliar with the American Alpine Club and its work.

What's up with your deletion of Herman Hoerlin from the list of climbers and mountaineers? Jongsong Peak was the highest summit attained by 1930 and Huascaran is on of the most important mountain in the Americas. Most alpine climbers would have jumped to have a chance to be first on one of these. He has a page in the German Wikipedia and a memorial from the American Alpine Club Marqqq (talk) 14:19, 4 December 2022 (UTC)

Unreferenced cruft; WP:N

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. Assessing articles

Hi there. Please note that this article was already rated as C-class before you came along. Adding the separate ratings for each project introduced conflicts which we are trying to resolve. If you disagree with the rating then the easiest way is to change the rating in the shell which will change it for all projects at once. I hope this helps — Martin (MSGJ · talk) 09:22, 12 September 2023 (UTC)

MSGJ: Well the banner shell rating must be a new feature I was not aware of, and I have been assessing articles for over 15 years. I did not notice the "c" in the banner shell but I really still do not feel the article warranted a c rating. To me it looks more like a "start" class article. So now individual wikiprojects can remove, or ignore the rating from their templates so long as a banner shell has been added. Thanks for letting me know about this feature. ww2censor (talk) 11:05, 12 September 2023 (UTC)
Yeah it's fairly new (Feb 2023). Thanks! — Martin (MSGJ · talk) 12:17, 12 September 2023 (UTC)

Hi Ww. I can't find any link to my "watchlist" recently. Has something changed? Sarah777 (talk) 22:57, 16 September 2023 (UTC)

Sarah777: I can't see any problem with mine from the link on the top of the page (third link from the right beside the time). However, I don't think it is possible to view someone else's watchlist. ww2censor (talk) 10:26, 17 September 2023 (UTC)
Yeah - that's where it is! They changed the format...silly me. It was only my own list I wanted to see. Sarah777 (talk) 11:30, 17 September 2023 (UTC)
Sarah777: Of course but I mentioned that because I wanted to see if it was possible to view another editor's watchlist but I still do not know if it is possible. Glad you found it. ww2censor (talk) 14:42, 17 September 2023 (UTC)

Class Ratings

Hi Ww...check out Talk:Jane Elizabeth Moore. Most projects rate this a "start" yet it appears as a "C". Whassup?! Sarah777 (talk) 17:43, 24 September 2023 (UTC)

Sarah777: The banner shell now has the ability to rate all article assessments in one shot instead of adding ratings to each individual WikiProject's assessment. Perhaps you are using the rating script "Rater" which only shows the banner shell when viewing at the page source. See the class rating in the edit view like this, which makes the individual class ratings essentially redundant. Also refer to this post above User talk:Ww2censor#Assessing articles whose links go into more detail. User:Ipigott added the C-class rating to the banner shell to this article and then SeoR added the individual start ratings, using User:Kephir/gadgets/rater gadget which I presume you also use, so maybe they did not know about the new feature of the banner shell. I hope they see this post and note it. Really the class-rating should now be removed from the WikiProject assessments but when there is only one project, I doubt we use a banner shell so there likely remains confusion with this issue. ww2censor (talk) 10:41, 25 September 2023 (UTC)
Thanks both, and yes, I have become aware of the over-arching rating option, but still use the Rater script, which is very efficient but has not yet accommodated this fully (it would need a handler element to capture / apply the banner shell in the non-source part). AFAIK, projects still have the right to decide quality level, but we should, as always, try not to have different ratings, and this approach can ease that problem. I will fix the Moore case mentioned - given Ipigott's experience, I will defer to their C rating. And going forward I will try to catch any such issues with the banner shell-contained ratings (in the end, volumes of ratings are now modest for WPrj Ireland). Thanks, Sarah777, for bringing this up. I spend quite a bit of my editing time trying to give objective ratings but it's not often I receive reactions. I gave the article a C rating as it not only had over 500 words of running text based on solid sources but also presented additional info under "Biography" and examples of her verse. I'm not sure what Ores and Rater recommended at the time but I have noticed that their ratings are sometimes lower than might be expected if there are paragraphs which do not end with a reference, as is the case here. (In many other cases, I find their ratings far too generous.) I would still strongly support a C rating for the article and would like to invite SeoR to consider whether the individual Start ratings really convey the quality of the article. I see, btw, the editing comment for those Start ratings notes "Close to C". As something of an expert in assessment, I'm sure SeoR is aware of recent developments in the Banner Shell environment and realizes that if individual ratings are deleted, the WPBS rating would again apply to all listed wikiprojects. It would also be interesting to hear whether others would prefer a C or Start rating. Let's just see how things progress.--Ipigott (talk) 13:13, 25 September 2023 (UTC)
Thanks Ipigott, I have used exactly that approach, stripped out the line-level ratings, so the C prevails. And no dispute at all - I felt it might benefit from a small tweak further for C - but then again, I also feel we can be too tough, with too many Stub and Start, and not enough use made of C - and I fully agree that this is a decent mid-level article. And I may be experienced in the area, but you're a good deal more so! And yes, ORES and so Rater are a little mechanical in their inputs at times. Thanks to Ww2censor for providing page space for this useful discussion. SeoR (talk) 14:49, 25 September 2023 (UTC)
Happy to see we all agree on this one. While Ores and Rater are always a useful initial guide, it's important to remember that they were not developed specifically for the EN wiki but for all language versions of Wikipedia. We have vast experience in rating on the English version, starting with DYK and then with all the time we spend on peer reviews and work in connection with GAs, FAs, FLs, etc. I have noticed, for example, that Rater frequently gives a C rating to articles with far less that 200 words of running text, especially in cases where the references and notes represent the majority of total characters or where bullet lists or tables are included in the body of the article. I'm afraid I may be something of a kill-joy when I reduce such ratings to Stub. On the other hand, when Rater fails to recognize the impressive quality aspects of an article, I'm only too happy to raise its Start to C or its C to B. I would invite all those interested in assessment, not only to take into account the proposals from Ores and/or Rater but to look carefully at the article itself before providing an assessment. This only takes a minute or two more, so it's time well spent. It's also useful, from time to time, to provide feedback to those who have contributed to the articles assessed. In connection with the comments from ww2censor, I should point out that some wikiprojects such as Military History or certain countries still require separate assessments, even if a rating is included in WPBS. This can prove rather confusing if the WPBS rating is overridden.--~~
Many thanks to you all. I wasn't disputing the C rating...just how it "triumphed"! Sarah777 (talk) 23:34, 4 October 2023 (UTC)
