It goes to an NOAA page, but there is no way that I can see to pull up those data tables on demand for other cities. In the past, I've found NOAA and NCDC to be very un-userfriendly when it comes to getting data that they have on their site; once it took me several days to try to find something that should've been very easy. Weather history[edit]Hello, WxGopher. This article looks interesting if you missed it. The tornado in Brooklyn Park near Roseville missed me by just a fluke so I went on about it on User:SMcCandlish's page if it matters. Some folks worry about things like killswitches probably because of games and fiction so when I heard the term, felt free to worry because it was real. I was told the man in the tree is the most famous arborist in the city of Saint Paul, as of about 2002 (would have to check), thus the photos because never again will I have a tree or enough to pay for work like that. He even fixed up the neighbors on one side, too late on the other. Minnesota's location in the Upper Midwest allows it to experience some of the widest variety of weather in the United States. Winter in Minnesota is characterized by cold temperatures as low as −60 °F (−51 °C). Snow is the main form of winter precipitation, but freezing rain, ice, sleet, and occasionally rain are all possible during the winter months. Common storm systems include Alberta clippers or Panhandle hooks; some of which evolve into blizzards. Annual snowfall extremes have ranged from over 170 inches (432 cm) in the rugged Superior Highlands of the North Shore to as little as 10 inches (25 cm) in southern Minnesota. Spring is a time of major transition; snowstorms are common early, but by late-spring as temperatures begin to moderate the state experiences tornadoes, averaging 24 per year. In summer, humid conditions help kick off thunderstorm activity 30–40 days per year. Summer high temperatures as hot as 114 °F (46 °C) are possible. Autumn weather in Minnesota is largely the reverse of spring weather; the jet stream—which tends to weaken in summer—begins to re-strengthen, leading to a quicker changing of weather patterns and an increased variability of temperatures. For those who are unaware of what's been happening over the last year, I will give a brief summary. We have been discussing proposed changes to the colors of the dots on tropical cyclone maps and templates and infoboxes across the entire weather project in order to solve issues related to the limited contrast between colors for both normal vision as well as the various types of color blindness (MOS:ACCESS). We had partially implemented a proposal earlier this year, however, it was objected to by a number of people and additional issues were presented that made it evident this wasn't the optimal solution. We tried to come up with other solutions to address the issues related to color contrast, however, none of them gained traction and no consensus was generated. We need your help and I encourage you to propose your own scale and give feedback on those already listed. Keep in mind that we are NOT making a decision on any individual proposal at this time.
