Holocaust Denial

[edit]

The article you "cited" doesn't even vaguely accuse Carter of being a Holocaust Denier, so it isn't a citation, its just you making stuff up. Gwernol 00:30, 4 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

He's not denying the Holocaust happened. He's saying that enough time has passed that the actions of Germany in WWII should not prevent German troops taking part in peacekeeping actions in Lebanon. Notice he refers to the "historical facts", meaning the actions of Germany in WWII, including the Holocaust. There is no way this could be interpreted as evidence that Carter is a "prominent holocaust denier". Gwernol 00:37, 4 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]
You do realize that Lebanon borders Israel, right? Why do you think that Spiegel, a German newspaper, would ask Carter, who supports terrorist organizations like Hamas[1], if Carter thought it would be improper for German soldiers to arbitrate between Israel and anyone? I don't see how that can't be construed as holocaust denial. Are you sure you're not a holocaust denier? Xulong (talk) 00:57, 4 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Yes, thanks, I'm perfectly sure I'm not a holocaust denier; please read WP:NPA. Holocaust denial means you deny the Holocaust happened. Carter doesn't do that, he (indirectly) refers to it in the article you quote. Even if your extraordinarily convoluted logic were true (and boy, is it ever wrong), it would be your own original research, entirely unsupported by the article you cited, and therefore entirely unsuitable for Wikipedia. Hello and....

[edit]

I think that if you were to take the matter of Jimmy Carter to the Holocaust denial discussion page and present your evidence there you would find that most of us would not agree with you. But do feel free to go there and bring the matter up. But please remember, getting reverted on wikipedia is very common and should not be taken personally. I have included an information template that you may find helpful.

Kathy Sierra, BBC and death threats

[edit]

I reverted your edit because firstly it was BBC's which said that those blog posts were death threats and were echoed around internet. What could actually be seen on that blog (like picture of noose) weren't AFAIK death threats but just stupid bullying (There were also emails to K.Sierra from unknown sender). BBC-called those as death threats, some other said that they were just random shit and Kathy Sierra did full drama queen-act. Everything between of those two can be found from credible authors. So because opinnions differed it is needed to say who said and what. --Zache (talk) 20:01, 4 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]
