Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, your addition of one or more external links to the page DD Kashir has been reverted.
Your edit here to DD Kashir was reverted by an automated bot that attempts to remove links which are discouraged per our external links guideline. The external link(s) you added or changed (https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCOqU-HfQxoyImaCW2tCDxJA) is/are on my list of links to remove and probably shouldn't be included in Wikipedia. If the external link you inserted or changed was to a media file (e.g. a sound or video file) on an external server, then note that linking to such files may be subject to Wikipedia's copyright policy, as well as other parts of our external links guideline. If the information you linked to is indeed in violation of copyright, then such information should not be linked to. Please consider using our upload facility to upload a suitable media file, or consider linking to the original.
If you were trying to insert an external link that does comply with our policies and guidelines, then please accept my creator's apologies and feel free to undo the bot's revert. However, if the link does not comply with our policies and guidelines, but your edit included other, constructive, changes to the article, feel free to make those changes again without re-adding the link. Please read Wikipedia's external links guideline for more information, and consult my list of frequently-reverted sites. For more information about me, see my FAQ page. Thanks! --XLinkBot (talk) 08:22, 14 August 2017 (UTC)

9X Odia

I don't see enough evidence that it's a blatant hoax, but feel free to take it to AfD. StarM 15:12, 19 August 2017 (UTC)

Same with 9x Bangla and a few others you speedied. The criteria for G3 is pretty tight and none of these seem to meet it. StarM 15:44, 19 August 2017 (UTC)
There is no evidence that either 9X Odia or 9X Bangla ever existed as TV stations. Check the references in both articles. None work. Guess why? I reiterate both are hoaxes along with some others created by User:Prashantpandeyking and his alts User:Rajesultanpur and User:Prashantpking. Xzinger (talk) 17:03, 19 August 2017 (UTC)
References on India Now are dead, references on Zee Premium talk about Zee Smile which is a different channel altogether, references on TV9 Hindi talk about TV9 Kannada. Even a cursory googling and ref checks show all are blatant hoaxes created by the same user as some sick internet joke. Xzinger (talk) 17:13, 19 August 2017 (UTC)
Gotcha. I'm not saying these articles should exist, but that they're not blatant enough to be speedies. PROD, as you've done, or AfD are probably the best solution or redirect to parent in case of 9x? 9xODIA had a Times of India hit which led me to think it wasn't a hoax. DD Kids seemed a legit & clear hoax vs. some of the borderline ones. Wasn't sure about the new German network one. If they're created by a banned user, G5 may work for their contribution history StarM 18:21, 19 August 2017 (UTC)

Boleyn (talk) 19:09, 6 October 2017 (UTC)

This should be a biography. Now the page is however rather about the road blockade, so the name should be probably changed.Xx236 (talk) 11:26, 22 November 2017 (UTC)

@Xx236 should I move it to Murder of Santanu Bhowmik or do you have a better title in mind?--Xzinger (talk) 11:34, 22 November 2017 (UTC)
Some data about the journalist should be added, eg. the news channel name.Xx236 (talk) 11:41, 22 November 2017 (UTC)
PLease compare other pages listed in the List of journalists killed in India, eg. Gauri Lankesh.Xx236 (talk) 11:42, 22 November 2017 (UTC)
There is Murder of Ram Chander Chhatrapati.Xx236 (talk) 11:45, 22 November 2017 (UTC)
Updated with more references.--Xzinger (talk) 11:50, 22 November 2017 (UTC)

Categories

Please note that I've deleted the category you created Category:Indian celebrity. There are several issues with the creation of the category. First, it is extremely overly-broad. Whenever possible articles should be placed in precise defining categories as opposed to broad parent categories (e.g. "Indian television actresses" as opposed to "Indian actress"). Second, the category, even if plausible, would need to be "Indian celebrities", not the singular. If you plan on creating categories in the future, please review Wikipedia:Categorization prior to doing so. Thank you, --Jezebel's Ponyobons mots 21:24, 29 November 2017 (UTC)

How about "Celebrities in India" category? Is that OK with you? --Xzinger (talk) 02:13, 30 November 2017 (UTC)
It's the same category, just reworded; it's too broad. Such a category would encapsulate so many articles that it would make navigation impossible if added to the thousands upon thousand of Indian celebrity articles (which is the opposite of what categorization is meant to do). There is already the category Category:Indian entertainers that is correctly broken down into specific occupations (e.g. "actors", "comedians", "musicians") and these categories are further broken down into specific genres (see WP:DIFFUSE). To create a "Celebrities in India" parent category would be redundant as the categorization tree already exists under Category:Indian entertainers. --Jezebel's Ponyobons mots 17:01, 30 November 2017 (UTC)
