Hi Blnguyen! Please look at this account(s) and I think this guy must be block forever because:

  • Netking China (talk · contribs · deleted contribs · nuke contribs · logs · filter log · block user · block log) - actions evidently indicate a vandalism only account. Please look at all vandal edits from this user and its Talk Page. This user is a extremely pro-China who is always attacking to Taiwan, Tibet (as parts of China), Dalai Lama, pro-Beijing Olympics torch relay, etc...This user must be block for a long time for his multiple violations:
  1. WP:SOCK: Netking cn (blocking 3 days by a Chinese-Singaporean admin [1]), 222.49.254.135 (IP address from Beijing, China) and the newest one Renaissance2008.
  2. WP:PNA: Attacked my Talk Page [2] and others [3] (he threatened me and other users must obey all directions of Chinese Communist Party and must be respect the Chinese rules in Tibet, Taiwan and anywhere). Vandalized or deleted his vandal proofs in Talk Pages [4][5].
  3. NPOV and 3RR: Please look at all his contributions, as well as my proofs.

Having trouble with anons... ideas?

There are anons (or one anon, with a changing ip) editing many of the Miss Teen USA year articles (eg Miss Teen USA 1991) and whilst some of the edits are helpful, most are not. Worst problem is, the person doesn't use ANY edit summaries. Its a mess. There's also anon trouble at Miss Universe Special Awards, with a number of anons (think its the same person) adding html center tags into the tables completely unnecessarily, despite requests not to do so. Because the ips keep changing its difficult to warn this person. Any ideas? Its just completely frustrating. Cheers. PageantUpdater talkcontribs 13:01, 2 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Could you please specify your level of copyediting for the military history project here.

These are the levels:

  1. Copy-edit lite: basic proof-reading, spellchecking, punctuation.
  2. English variant conversion: for example, from American English to Commonwealth English, or vice versa.
  3. Naturalising: copy-edit for editors whose English is fluent but not perfect.
  4. FAC prose copy-edit: flow, structure, elegance.
  5. FAC technical copy-edit: MoS-compliance for dashes, hard spaces, numbers, measurement conversion.

Hi Blnguyen, i wanted to leave you a note about your edits to this article. a couple of days ago, i added some info that i thought was pertinent to the article. you deleted it, claiming it was undue. i disagreed with the basis of your deletion and reinstated my text. however, you seem to have gone ahead and deleted the text again, without addressing my question as to why it was undue. this is the version o f the page before i added my text, and this is what i added to the article, with proper citations. anyone following the recently concluded kitply series in bangladesh will know of the well publicized fallout in the pcb after pakistan's 140-run loss to india. information of this can hardly be called undue.

I'm contacting you since you are the protecting admin on the Vishnuvardhana page. I've been doing some research on long-term page protection policy (in general, not about that page in particular) and noticed that page has been protected since May 1.

It looks like there's been no discussion there since then so I wonder if maybe the protection is no longer needed and you might like to unprotect it.

I am not familiar with what led up to the protection. If you'd rather keep it protected that's fine with me. I don't edit that page, so this is not a personal request, just something that came up related to the research I've been doing.

Blnguyen, I noticed that you re-inserted section on rapists in this article without addressing my comments in the discussion. If you really feel strongly about including information on these rapists, I believe you should write a separate article that details the incident, court case and subsequent jail terms handed to the individuals. First I wanted to thank you for voting to reject the rather hasty 'wheel warring' case currently up for consideration at arbcom - in my view it's a small voice of sanity in a rather noisy wiki world. Secondly, I wanted to ask you to please consider posting some of your responses, or feedback to the current arbcom situation - I don't think it's massively hyperbolic to note that this really is in many ways a Wiki Summer of discontent (well actually winter for us southern hemisphere types...).

I believe it's the right thing for you, and all other committee members, to be doing right now - I don't think the community as a whole are getting the benefits of any private discussions, and I believe they, and the individuals named in the various debacles around the place, deserve much, much better.

I entreat you to consider signing up as available to offer thoughts, or answer some short, focused, questions. I would also ask you to consider contacting the Wikipedia Weekly team, or the 'Not The Wikipedia Weekly' team, if you might be available for a short voice conversation.

It's my view that communication really really matters, and I think there's an urgent need for arb.s to step up.

Poverty in India

Hello,

I added a section in the topic "Poverty in India" that indicates that the Government of India organozation named NCEUS made a wrong computation in calculating poverty from NSSO data. As a result of this mistake, deliberate or otherwise, everyone thinks that 77% of Indians spend less than Rs 20 per day. My computations show that the true figure is 62% which is a whooping 15% less. I emailed the Prime Minister and other misnisters as well and my emails were bounced. This is a terrible lie being perpetrated by media across the world. I provided a link to my computations.

Could you explain to me why you deleted that section? Did you find that NCEUS computations were indeed correct?

I had given a link for the article. What makes you believe she was not a prominent kaul? The Geogre/Connolley RFAR was not supposed to be about Giano... and yet Kirill has added as a FoF an extensive collection of Giano quotations, which he describes as "public attacks against fellow editors".[8] Please note that, pushing the case further over towards being about Giano after all, Kirill had previously offered the same context-free collection in the workshop as "The elephant in the room".[9] I beg arbitrators to study the context Carcharoth supplies in "The detail in the elephant"[10] before they vote. Request for Oversight

Hi!How are you? I just wanted to make a request . Would it be possible to remove the edits with the abusive and racist language used by NisarKand's sock [11], [12],[13], [14] and the related discussion on User:EncMstr's talk page [15],[16],[17],[18],[19],[20],[21],[22],[23],[24],[25],[26]. The issue, I feel, is very much resolved and User:EncMstr has archived the discussion. So, I feel that there is no reason for these edits to remain. Also, the exchanges I had with EncMstr and NisarKand appear in Google Search results [27]. I never wanted such a thing to happen. Janet Nguyen

User:JanetNguyen seems to be making a lot of COI edits to the article Janet Nguyen, with some text taken verbatim from the official website. I tried talking to the user but did not get any reply, and she keeps repeating her edits. I notified at Wikipedia:Conflict of interest/Noticeboard but after her edits were reverted, she kept coming back. It seems now there's a sockpuppet making edits at that article. Yes, Tran used to support her when she was starting out in politics, but he had supported her opponents in the last 2 elections (she defeated them both despite his backing). Angela Merkel

I see you recently reverted an edit to Angela Merkel, which had moved some information about spouses and children to the "Personal Life" section. Although the edit came from an IP that had received vandalism warnings, the edit looked OK to me, except that it removed the date of the second marriage while apparently attempting to remove duplicated information.
