sorry for doing it like this, but i dont know how else to communicate with you.

why is it NOT important to note that the numbers are woefully inaccurate. because we dont have documented history of 1622 - 1637 you expect us to believe that there was only one battle? i apologize for entering rhetorical questions into the page, i shouldnt have. however, it seems important to me to make a clear note of the fact that WE DO NOT KNOW how many people were killed. the whole page has a very american feel to it, justifying atrocity... it makes me feel sick to read it the way it is.

Relating to your question: The paragraph above the text you added is biased too, so I see your point, and I'll remove that person's text too, but adding your bias to the other person's bias isn't the best way for an article to be written. That article needs a major re-write and I'll tag it as such.YellowPigNowNow 10:37, 4 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Porn stars

[edit]

Puritanical? possibly a few of the voters on AfD's are acting out of that motivation, many are not knowledgable or won't admit to being knowledgable about who is notable and who isn't so its err on the side of delete for them when the subject matter is obscure or tasteless. Who knows? The editors are harsher on (gay) male porn stars than on female ones perhaps a bias in the editor's knowledge base (what they tend to watch or remember). Plenty of personal attacks?

[edit]

Who have I attacked personally? Isn't your saying I've made "plenty" of such attacks itself a personal attack? If not, why not? --James S. 18:58, 16 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for your reply. I think there's a big diference between accusing someone of deleting source-supported research, and blatant personal attacks. If you're tired having just come upon this situation, how do you think I feel? --James S. 19:22, 16 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]
I have no great love of James, what I think of him at times is not nice (he tends to drive me around the twist with his POV, I hope James does not view that as a personal attack). But I think that ER MD went too far. James can be a bit abrasive but he has yet to resort to vile sexual slurs (at least I have never seen or heard of him doing so).
I would rather not wish to repeat the profanity which ER MD wrote on Jame's user page as I do not fancy having to decontaminate my keyboard by scrubbing it night and day with disinfectant (the on line version of washing one's mouth out with soap and water after having uttered very bad words).Cadmium

WP:CVU status

[edit]

The Wikipedia:Counter-Vandalism Unit project is under consideration to be moved to {{inactive}} and/or {{historical}} status. Another proposal is to delete or redirect the project. You have been identified as a project member and your input as to this matter would be welcomed at WT:CVU#Inactive.3F and at the deletion debate. Thank you!
