Your two recent edits to the mathematics reference desk are problematic.

The first, which copied six paragraphs from a mathematics help web site, is a copyright violation, and I have redacted that material. Please see our policy at Wikipedia:Copyright violations. Also, it is not clear what the purpose of that post is. Are you trying to ask a question, or are you just pointing out the difficulties some students have in learning the concept of logarithms?
