Also October 2016

[edit]

It wasn't disruptive editing, I have yet to see a single source stating that he was born in the US, and I've talked to multiple people from Yekaterinburg who say that Christopher Walken was born in Russia, and his family later took him to New York because of the political climate at the time. Also, not knowing the correct definition of penultimate is no reason to take such drastic measures as blocking someone from Christopher Walken's wikipedia page. Yllrauei (talk)Yllrauei

Did you read the article at all? It cites multiple sources that discuss his family's history in Astoria and his Scottish and German ancestry. The people you talked to aren't listed at WP:Identifying reliable sources. Ian.thomson (talk) 04:36, 15 October 2016 (UTC)[reply]

YOU'RE NOT MY SUPERVISOR

[edit]

ugh, alright. I'll start digging through russian public records, because that's something that I want to do on a Saturday. It's all for you Chris, all to preserve the accuracy of your wikipedia article.

No, you don't just use public records. Those are primary sources, and any Christopher Walken you find there might not be the Christopher Walken of the article. You need journalistic or academic secondary or tertiary sources which have already done the research and proven that Walken was born in Russia.
Or, at least you would if that was a good idea. Continuing to focus on this conspiracy theory of yours is only going to make it look like you're only here to troll. Ian.thomson (talk) 00:41, 16 October 2016 (UTC)[reply]
