Orphaned non-free media (Image:RUNewBrunswickLogo.jpg)

[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:RUNewBrunswickLogo.jpg. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that all non-free media not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. BJBot (talk) 05:38, 23 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Land Rover reverts

[edit]

Can you please discus the Land Rover opening paragraphs on the Talk:Land Rover page and reach a WP:Concensus rather than the continual reverts that you have been doing over the last few days.

Discus the wording and the reasoning why one version is more correct than the other version, or what factual incuracies there are in the statements please. - BulldozerD11 (talk) 02:49, 26 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you for your reply/comments on the Land Rover page, Awaiting a reply from AJ-India - BulldozerD11 (talk) 00:50, 27 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Laughter

[edit]

Laughing at your edit comment in Release Me (Agnes song) "Lyrics make wikipedia admins go ape shit".

Piano non troppo (talk) 06:54, 9 July 2009 (UTC) <--- really wants to see a group of admins dancing around like apes. Or any group of wiki editors, for that matter. Hee, hee. Great image.[reply]

The Real World: Cancun

[edit]

Hi. In answer to your question, Nicole401 merely plagiarized the episode summary from mtv.com, which asserts that they had sex. I agree that the episode is a bit unclear as to the extent of their intimacy, and indeed, the summaries MTV writes tend to be more POV and informal than what we're expected to write here at WP. This is why, when a video of the episode is available, it's preferable to go on that. I already admonished Nicole401 not to plagiarize copyright-protected material again. Thanks. Nightscream (talk) 15:39, 12 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Well there you go. Naturally, MTV is going to exaggerate. Nightscream (talk) 04:32, 14 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]

A tag has been placed on File:Q logo2.png requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section F1 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the image is an unused redundant copy (all pixels the same or scaled down) of an image in the same file format, which is on Wikipedia (not on Commons), and all inward links have been updated.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, contest the deletion by clicking on the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". Doing so will take you to the talk page where you will find a pre-formatted place for you to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. You can also visit the the page's talk page directly to give your reasons, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines.
